A remarkable vegan restaurant (described by the amazing owner as being part of preventative, rather than interventional, cardiology) with a delicious, varied, and interesting menu! All of the appetizers, entrees, and desserts that we (a group of eight adults and five children) tried were delicious and satisfying. The cashew cheese and cauliflower wings were huge hits right off the bat, and our servers were incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
If you're looking for a vegan place with incredibly good food, an impressive drink menu, and wonderful service, this is your place! Looking forward to our next visit!
Gnocchi was delicious, wonderful to see so many gluten free options. I found out they had cauliflower wings so I ordered those which came with BBQ, Buffalo and ranch sauce, all 3 were EXTRA yummy! Then topped it all off with a scrumptious New York cheesecake with goji berries and chocolate. Awesome place, will come again soon!
The county Fair is always a great time. You can get all your typical Fair food like corn dogs, curly fries, funnel cakes and fried everything.Horse racing in the afternoons is by far the best entertainment here for adults. If you don't like drinking a cocktail and screaming at horses you bet on, while you eat pulled pork nachos, there is probably something wrong with you.
The most stuck up place I ever been . staff are hateful. The only person in the parking lot at the time and it wouldn't let me run a little bitty generator. I'm the only one there. Then they made me leave because I didn't have my car parked in front of the trailer my wife had it it wasn't always in front of the trailer. I'll never go there again and I will never recommend it for anyone. hateful people
We really enjoyed our trip to this fair. Smaller town feel but with larger town amenities and rides. Great mix of local farm feel and big city. Great indoor and outdoor shopping selection too for the fair goers who don't enjoy the rides. Also clean enough indoor bathrooms. We went on a Wed evening at 6pm and it was perfect timing, no waits or crowds. We closed the fair at 10pm and that was plenty of time to utilize our two $35 all day pass braclets for the kids and one $30 for 30 tickets pack for us adults to split. Unlike a previous post mentioned, kids do not get in free after 3pm on weekdays, only 5 and under get in for free. There was lots of fried food and sweets outside and a great specialty selection of snacks, treats and shopping inside. The inside and some outside food booths closed down at 9pm so make sure to get your purchases in before then. The weather is usually a bit chilly and foggy but perfect for a fun night of running around playing. We were a bit disappointed the light house was not lit on the night we went like some of the review pictures showed. We also wished the water balls and rock climbing didn't cost extra money but it was a fun splurge. We were impressed with the kindness, helpfulness and smiles of some of the ride operators as well as the security guard. We would definitely recommend putting this event on your calendar!
