1. The teachers are either extremely patronising or downright horrible. I had one of them shout at me for correcting their pronunciation of my name. Also, they clearly favourite and give special treatment to certain students.
2. Practicals are not something to look forward to. It's literal labour. You're basically doing a zookeepers job without being paid. You don't get any rest/breaks for 3 hours and you can't pick the animals you work with.
3. All the trips are so poorly organised. Who arranges a trip to chester zoo in November when it's freezing and raining?!?!
4. Work experience is stupid. If you can't find a placement, they won't help you out.
5. The college is full of snobby bullies and the teachers don't care.

Signed up for food tech and accommodation. I have mental health issues therefore can't take the transport. I have spent a lot of money and time going back and forth for no reason.
I went on two tours and not once was I told about an expensive deposit and the overly priced price to stay. I am being treated like an idiot. Also I have to appeal for free accommodation (still having to pay for the deposit).I was told that even after properly enrolling I would have to wait 4 weeks for a bus pass. I don't think anyone understands that I live far away and I have mental and physical health issues. So now I am stuck with nothing.
I was also told bakery isn't a proper course(along those lines) therefore they won't pay for my accommodation.
Mother received a call and was told I have a room for myself and didn't say anything about a deposit again. When I went recently after that call they said I am sharing a room. No communication.
I am having bad anxiety and stress due to my experience.

I have just recently finished a 2 year course at the college in Food Technology and management and wouldn’t recommend the college to anyone they say the course is a 3 day course when actually lectures only cover 1 day so you are left waiting around most of the time. When it comes applying to uni you may as well only consider Harper Adams as the actual course is worth no UCAS points!!! The staff in the food department however are very friendly just wished they hadn’t of lied when going to the college saying it was equivalent to 3 A levels. So basically if you want to waste 2 years on a Food course that gets you hardly anywhere I wouldn’t recommend the course or department as a whole!!
