Great hotel and casino in the Baton Rouge area. Spacious and clean rooms. Food tasted great. Good selection of internal eateries. Friendly hotel staff.

We waited in line for the buffet for an hour. We were a group of 8 and were initially told that we wouldn't be able to sit together due to lack of table availability. There were 2, 4 top tables back to back that we wanted to join, but management wouldn't accommodate that request. Our server went the extra mile to find us a table to seat all 8 at 1 table. The buffet was terribly busy and service suffered because of it. The crabs were delicious and definitely worth the wait. Despite the issues, we enjoyed our night. Following dinner we had drinks and enjoyed the band at Edge. The patio deck outside the lounge was very relaxing.

This is a nice and fancy casino right by the river with events featuring America for talent duo The Clairvoyants and comedians like Tim Allen. There is an okay buffet there. The facilities are nice and clean. The parking is huge and well arranged so I can always find a parking lot close to th entrance. I always take my family and friends to come here whenever they visit!

Cleanliness of the rooms has deteriorated since my last stay in Feb 2018. Dust ruffles were torn, and spots were present on mattress pads, duvet and sheets. I requested to change rooms due to the cleanliness and was met with no apology or "make it right" attitude. Front desk staff was inconsistent in customer service. While one staff member was customer-centric, others were not. When I checked out, I requested a copy of my bill and the associate wasn't able to do that until her manager arrived because it was after hours. This should be standard process, available at any time.

I spent a couple of hours in the casino on a Sunday afternoon. The staff there was very nice, they had a large selection of slots, and a decent number of tables for the size of the casino. The gaming area was relatively clean, and I saw staff coming by on multiple occasions to keep the place tidy. There is a complimentary drink area for soda and coffee, which was mostly well-kept. The outdoor area left a bit to be desired in terms of scenery, but if you are a smoker it will suit your needs. The biggest complaint I have was the bathrooms located directly across the hall from the gaming area. They were very untidy (especially when you consider that this was on a Sunday morning and they were not busy at all), and two of the three faucets were out of order. I really expected better from the premier casino in the area. Overall it was a nice experience, but there is certainly room for improvement.

Very nice. We were visiting from out of town and loved it! There is no smoking inside the casino, but a very nice covered patio for smokers! The casino and all the employees were really great. Overall great experience!

The food was great. Hostess was very courteous and professional. I did not stay overnight so I did not see the hotel rooms. The game room was fun clean well-maintained and the cocktail waitresses stayed on the floor. It did take a little longer than it should have in my opinion to get the drinks but overall was a great experience. I had fun. All relaxed. And I celebrated my brother's life.

Great dinner at the buffet. This Wednesday night Lobster was included. Full buffet and 6 whole boiled lobsters for $60 plus tax. HUGE selection including boiled shrimp, prime rib, frog legs, various vegetables, soups, salads and deserts. All were very tasty!

Pool area on top of hotel was awesome. The people who work here we're nice and courteous. The table limits were ridiculous and left many of the folks in our group without any tables to play on. Late in the evening they only had $15 minimum bet on the craps table. And not just a $15 minimum.... everytime you bet you had to bet at least $15 . Meaning if you wanted to play the 6, the field or anything it had to be $15 each, even if you already had $15 on the pass. Was not much fun unless you're a high roller and Able to play 50 to $100 a game. Blackjack tables had $25 minimums. Not set up for recreational gamblers.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms and loved the pool area. Only complaint was the attitudes of front desk. Called twice about the bathroom stopped up and was given attitude on the second call and it was a hour between calls. I was very respectful to them but was still given attitude. Still rate a 5 star may have been a busy night or a personal issue
