Was at the buffet at Grand Casino Hinckley on 10/07/2017. 1st time since the remodel. The layout was as horrible as the food. I remember before the remodel the food was good and fresh. Not this time. The food was worse than the horrible new layout. I will not be returning for the buffet ever again. Food was cold and most was inedible. I was sadly disappointed. The buffet was the only reason I would go to Grand Casino Hinkley. I won't be making that stop ever again

Worst buffet ever - we will never go back. What a waste of money! Food was not fresh, pork loin too tough to eat, mashed potatoes mushy, lukewarm and from a box, I'm sure. Not sure what was in the seafood cakes. Everything tasted like it was from a box or a can. I can do that at home. I never write reviews, but felt I had to in this case. We actually felt sick when we left the buffet. YUK!

We were at Grand Casino on Friday night, 1-17-14 and decided to eat at the seafood buffet. I have to say that this is probably the WORST buffet that we have ever had. We paid $49.14 for what we expected to be good food, and the only food that we of ANY good quality at all was the desert, and that was not even close to the standard that we expected for the price. The crab legs were small and mushy, and none of the other food was very good either. We were extremely disappointed and when I expressed my concern about the quality of the buffet to the attendant when we left, I was just told "sorry" and was advised that they knew the sea food was not very good, especially the crab legs. When we pay almost $50 for two of us to eat, we feel that the quality should be equal to that high price. The least that they could have done is offered a partial refund, or even a discount on future visits. Based on their reaction, there probably will NOT be any future visits. No wonder there was no one in line to get in and no where near the number of people visiting the buffet like there used to be.

The man who I paid on the way in was rude. The women who showed me my booth was rude. Every one working was in a bad mood. The group of waitresses near my table were gathered wrapping napkins around silverware gossiping about something that was clearly upsetting everyone. When we ran out of beverages the 5 wait staff dealing with the napkins ignored my attempts at grabbing their attention. The first plate I grabbed had food on the bottom that made my hand greasy, I put the plate back behind the Asian line. The food was very disappointing, nothing was fresh. The website highlights the fresh fruit, I was only able to find cantaloupe and pineapple that was no where near fresh, I would bet money that the pineapple was from a can. This buffet was over priced and a joke.
