Longtime visitor. Today I brought by 87 yr old dad in who wanted to try the chicken fry. It however was a slab of tough gristle and not very warm. My order was good, catfish. Why not use real potatoes for fries? They taste like dough. Salad had maybe a tea spoon of dressing, not enough.
People like to put their own dressing on. Service was really good, was going to tell waitress about the chicken fry but it was much after she came back. Not ones to complain, but for $18 is should be cut with a fork. There are $8 chicken fries out there that would knock the socks of this one. You can do it! get better meat! Love Toby's, all other times were great.
