Carnival World Buffet

In my opinion this is one of the best buffets I've tried in Vegas. Lots of food options but importantly all of the food I got seemed to be of high quality and tasted as good as you might expect from, say, a steak house or other restaurant with these options laid out as individual meals. If you're going to spend $30+ per person on a buffet you might as well make it worthwhile and this one makes the cut for sure!

Best bang for your buck. They serve all you can eat crab legs from 4-5:30 I think. They keep a decent stock of them too. Only thing I didn’t like was the prime rib and steak very chewy and hard. Wish the souvenir cup had Rio name or logo on it. Didn’t eat to much of the other food just the crab. They no longer have lobster tails.

With so many great places to eat in Las Vegas don't waste your money here. Yes, it's all-you-can-eat and yes there's a lot of different food, but the quality is not there. They do have crab legs but only until they run out and once they're gone, they're gone so unless you get there when they open you won't get any. If you do want all-you-can-eat I suggest the Indian restaurant in the same casino; smaller selection but the food is much better.

Friend suggested we come to the buffet from another hotel because is was known for good selection and great seafood. I'm not into seafood but I remember this being great. Those days are long gone. The only thing from the old days is the roast beef I tried and failed to eat. Dry, flavorless and mildly warm is not only how you describe the chicken but the whole experience. The only way to make this meal palatable is to get the unlimited beer and wine and drink until you don't care what the food tastes like. The carnival world buffet should try making the food here and not import it on a slow cargo ship.

Wasn't too bad of a place to eat for dinner. If you enjoy fast food/comfort food then I think you'll like this place. They have things like pasta, french fries, Chinese, etc. However if you want things like seafood you won't find a good selection here. Service was decent enough. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. One thing though, drinks are self serve, so if you drink a lot, like me, be prepared to walk, lots.

One of the best buffets you will find in Vegas, especially if you are coming with family/children. There is something for everyone with dishes from around the world. TIP: Go for a late lunch, around 2ish and don't fill up too much because the food on the buffet gets changed out at 3pm. Buffet is cheaper before 3pm 😉

Carnival World Buffet

To be honest, I like the desserts more than I do the main course. Also, my husband was looking forward to getting seafood like at most buffets, and they told him “No we don’t do crab anymore”. BE WARNED. Don’t go here if you are wanting to go eat seafood because they literally have nothing and he was disappointed especially because we spend $40 a person that night. Of course, they didn’t tell us until after we paid. I remembered this being a lot better then , than it is now. I went here about 5 years ago and came back and it kind of went downhill. Bacchanal buffet has it beat.

Carnival World Buffet

This Buffet has seriously gone down hill. They no longer serve crab legs or any of the great seafood they used to. I took my wife there last night and I wish I would have gone else where. This place is not worth the $30 a person it once was. not even close. this is no better than any of the off strip buffets that you can go to for a much better price. Such a shame. I used to love this place.

Online it said it was good seafood buffet. It barely had anything. Evidently only on the weekends. The rest of main entrees were tough or cold. Saving grace of this place was dessert. Tried most of them, all were delicious!

Terrible terrible customer service. Adam Melendez (Front Services Manager) called me to the front to deal with a mechanical issue with my rental car. My friends went on inside to eat since we have the Penn & Teller show coming up in 2 hours. The restaurant staff refused me entry to just sit with my friends. They told me I had to pay. Ok. Sure, let’s pay. Nope, back of the line. Wonderful. Adam was great in assisting with the rental car. All the rest of the interactions with the hotel staff have been great. Rio seems like a great casino-resort. Carnival World Buffet is terrible and not understanding toward issues beyond a guests control.

We have been here before, and understood it was one of the best buffets in town. I think it’s still good, but nothing special. Nothing really stood out as excellent. Steak, chicken, and apple pie: Good Squash, ice cream, and pasta: Average Fruit: Below average

No "seafood" buffet at Rio any longer. As of about 2 weeks ago/middle of May '18, they have one buffet, Carnival World Buffet. I felt it was a little Asian heavy but had items like: roast beef and chicken, veggies, small salad bar, potato salad, a few soups, pasta and pizza, feel and eat shrimp, a couple of fish options, oysters, crawfish, and many desserts. Paid $29.99 for weeknight dinner and $13 for unlimited select wine/beer. Good selection, just not what it used to be.

Carnival World Buffet

One of our favourite buffets in Vegas. We love the fact there is something for everyone , every age and every taste bud. Most Servers are fantastic and full of smiles while helping out! There is Pizza, There is Seafood, Asian food , Italyan, Mexcian a little of everything. Desserts are very small sizes, where allows you to try few of them without wasting or getting too much of! Love that! Highly recommend..

I never write reviews. Ever! But this place is no where near worth the price. I've eaten at better buffets that cost $10. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere for a buffet! All the servers are very attentive! Food is fantastic, specially if you go for the seafood! About the only negative thing I could say is that the sushi selection could be better. But well worth the price! One of the best in Vega!

Carnival World Buffet

Our last night in Vegas we made the mistake of trying this buffet. It was 8:30 on a Friday night, $35 each, did not pay the extra $20 for the seafood as I'm a shrimp gal and my husband is allergic. After we paid and were being led to our booth, we were casually told, they closed at 9 but we would be allowed to eat until 9:30. ON a FRIDAY??? In VEGAS??? Needless to say, nothing was re-stocked, what was still out was old. My husband had the prime rib, he's not one to complain, but would only said "it wasn't the worst" he's had. The tepenyaki station they raved about was not even staffed. I ended up eating shrimp and cocktail sauce, that's it. Sadly I ended up very ill and had a horrid flight home the next day. Be warned.

Over priced for crappy food. $20.00 extra for the sea food and you only get one coupon for one lobster. The lobster was way small and way over cooked and super dry. We've bought better lobster tail at Wal-Mart for $7.00. As far as the buffet. The golden Carroll is much better for 15.00 a piece. This was a huge waist of $95.00

Carnival World Buffet

The Carnival World & Seafood Buffet's bragging rights - the sheer variety of food choices - are also its downfall. Too many options leave you choosing one for another, and facing the chance of disappointment. It would be better to focus on a few areas, rather than have something from each region. The food itself was okay, but nothing amazing. The Seafood upgrade is only worth it if you really want lobster (limit of one) or crab legs (unlimited), as there's shrimp and other fish available on the main buffet. Even the dessert bar had too many choices, most of which were odd combinations of flavors or far too rich. The only plus is the unlimited wine or beer package, which is well worth the money.

This has gone really downhill. Paid 35 on a weeknight. Food was edible, but not good. Used to be really nice. Now they combined seafood buffet $20 extra which I did not pay for. The variety and quality have fallen way off. Used to be a huge fan, now I won't go back again. Staff was nice which got them the second star. Of course now you have to fetch your own drinks too, they used to bring them to you. Sad to see my favorite buffet become one I will never eat at again.

I'm not a huge seafood lover but my husband is and for the price couldn't of found a better place to get food for the both of us. He got food from both buffets the seafood side and the carnival side. The waiter was amazing would go back if ever in Vegas again.

Been hear many times in the past, always pretty good. Got there and it was extremely hot in the restaurant. Asked for a cooler area and they put us right by the kitchen. Awful. Food was also very bad, nothing like it used to be. Won't be back. Go to the Mirage (Carvings) buffet.
