We love First Gold! Have been here many times and will continue to come back. It's even better now with the free breakfast. We like the covered parking ramp.

Been here quite a few times and enjoy the weekend buffet, but tonight the wait staff consisted of three younger teenage girls, two in very unprofessional clothing and being loud and obnoxious right next to our table the entire meal. This made it nearly impossible to enjoy or meal while listening to teenage gossip. Not a $60 dining experience at all.

For a casino hotel it's a bit pricey.. but the room was really nice and the bed was awesome! Super clean room!! I will definitely stay there again!!

Wait for a table was longer than expected but the food was delicious... The prime rib very yummy. The buffet isn't overly large but worth it!

Rating for buffet. Food was good for what was offered, but over priced for the small area and selection. Went in and there was a sign that said wait to be seated. We waited.... After quite a while one of the guys behind the buffet said it's seat yourself. We got drinks and no refills and no plates were cleared the entire time. It wasn't even busy.

I have not stayed in this hotel as an overnight guest so I can't speak to whether or not the rooms are nice. I have visted the casino floor and while the interior design is dated and not as modern as other casinos in deadwood everything else is pretty nice. They have a variety of slot machine both new and old. Often, they will have the some of the newer games available that aren't available to play anywhere else. The staff is usually very friendly. This casino seems to attract an older crowd than some of the others in town.

I and my mom stayed over night gambling. We always have a good time. The staff is always friendly, professional and courteous. First Gold Hotel is the only hotel we stay at when we visit Deadwood SD.
