The staff is great. This is the best part of this place. I play table games. It is usually very hard to find low-ante table games. The wait for these seats are long even when there are several empty tables with higher antes. My wife prefers the slots and has never come away ahead. With as many pulls as she has had on those slots, you would think she would hit at least one moderate payout. But no, not a single one. The food here is ok. It sure beats having to leave to go somewhere else to eat, but if they had really top-end food, even at a slightly higher price, I would consider it a place to go out to dine. It would be a good way to draw people to the casino more often if they could go out for a nice dinner, a couple drinks, and get entertainment.

I won’t return to this place because you can smoke inside. They have a non-smoking room, but it’s wide open, no door, so it’s the exact same as being out on the regular floor. The girl working the counter where you get your card was friendly, and they had good beer, but we left after one drink because of the smoking. It’s a shame because it’s a gorgeous building and could be a fun place to hang out for a little bit.

Great casino! I have won jackpots on slots 3 times this year.
On the small side for a casino but has a great variety of slots and a few blackjack and roulette tables.
The Timbers cafe has a few good dishes.

I had a nice time. Friendly staff. Pretty location. Good variety of slots and table games. Non-smoking room. Handicap accessible. Valet parking. Awesome food.

Part of the experience is the food and the Timbers is average at best. I ordered the prime rib which was like rubber to cut and perhaps microwaved, mashed potatoes cold and stiff with coleslaw in tiny lidded cup one would expect for salad dressing portions. I will say that the staff are sincerely helpful!
For an extra few minutes of drivetime, I suggest you go to Michigan City (Indiana's) casino. Numerous slot games and table games that even if you lose, playing earns bonuses you can use on the wonderful buffet restaurant, hotel, ect. Additionally, if you opt for the buffet you will not be disappointed.
