Non smoking and has a good crowd. Smells great because of the restaurants in there, which are awesome. The casino itself is fairly small compared to the others in the area, but it's big enough, and doesn't reek like the others do.
We went to the buffet on the weekend and although it was really crowded, the wait wasn't too long. The food selection is great and tastes good. The only issue I had was that the employees stand in the middle of the aisles and you constantly have to walk around them or wait for them to move. The staff behind the buffet were great though- very pleasant.
I really like the palace casino. They have a great buffet and you can't smoke in the casino! It's the only smoke free casino on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. There is a sports bar, I went there once and the service was very slow. There is no concert space or club area, which would be fun if it was offered.
I have only been here for the wine social. The food is good and it's always fun to get out and try new wines and talk to people. The only problem I had was that I called before the event and specifically asked if my DD would be charged to enter. I was told that you were basically charged for the wine glass, so non drinkers would not be charged. Upon arriving I was told otherwise and my driver left for dinner elsewhere because I was given the wrong information. But still had a good night and will continue to go to the wine social.
Amenities are always being updated at South Mississippi’s 12 casinos. But what’s new now is evident with Friday’s opening of The Blind Tiger restaurant at Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi and the announcement of Mississippi’s first Saltgrass Steak House across from Golden Nugget Biloxi.
