Recently stayed at this hotel inJanuary . We were supposed to have a non-smoking room. On entering the room it was a strong smell of smoke. As well as mold coming from the carpet. The water did not drain in the tub correctly. And the water faucets for the shower was installed sideways and was broken. Room Photos offered by the casino website do not look anything like the rooms . The rooms are very dated and old. We are returning later this year . And will not be staying at this hotel! The staff at the front desk we're somewhat rude. There are plenty of options with decent hotels in the area at low prices.

Clean all around. Some of the most advanced game machines I've ever seen. I kid you not. There is a "4D" game by the cash cage. Visually 3D, full surround sound and vibration feedback in the chair. My wife and I had no idea what we were doing but it was like being on a ride. Super professional staff yet approachable. Had a great time.

Our non-smoking room smelled like a cigarette convention was held inside. A lady with "magic spray" came and it wasn't quite so bad but still..... Some of the 110 outlets didn't work. And this is the NEW Pioneer.

Did not stay in the hotel. gambled in the newly renovated casino. Very nice choice of slot machines good drink service friendly staff service. Nice River Walk to other casinos

This place was so dirty. Dirty and stained carpet. Look like something had vomited on it. Bedspread was dragging on floor. TV was melted and warped. Front door had, what I think is, grease stains. Room smelled of old cigarettes. My husband said his hair got stuck on headboard in middle of night. The adjoining room door was thin with flimsy lock on it. No dead bolt, nothing. So unsafe!

Took our German Shepherd Boomer there three times last week. He loved it. He has tons of energy and this was is a perfect place for him to make friends and run around. Staff are friendly and nice

While the new owners set up shop, the only thing the main area is good for is the restaurant Bumbleberry Flats. I love eating there but it's a bit pricey. They have taps in some of the booths which is a neat idea. Third food is delicious too. Definitely a great choice but you might want to save it for date night.

Just to start off the casino part is closed due to renovation from the new owners trying to bring their place up to better standards and to fix all kinds of broken needs. It is in need of some repair for some time. Service was good but the amenities for the rooms was not there. Plus the rooms have fallen into disrepair with the walls having dents and poor paint job. Floor in bathroom was stained and flashing was torn. No hairdryer or ironing board was available . The tub was also stained from not being cleaned by staff. Curtains don't close all the way. Mattress for the beds were either too low, which they seem to be, or the bedding was too big. To sum it up they need a lot of fixing to go.

Rooms are clean. Staff was better when the 4th of July crowd thinned out, because their patience were thin. For some reason when you get a room for 4 with double queens, they only give you Two towels so you have to call house keeping every night for the other two. Real pain in the rear. But all in all, great place for the price. Gaming and food were great.
