I only use the casino on their military appreciation day. Wont use it again until they control the large amount of shady characters that use the building to get out of the cold. The casino is located in town unlike other casinos in Albuquerque.

Always have a great time. I have never been bothered by anyone asking me for cigarettes or money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great and big portions at a great price, my husbands favorite is there frito pie, but we have also had breakfast there and it was great to. We have gone between 10am and stayed only until 6pm. Tuesday thrust Fridays.

Lots of slots, good if that's what you enjoy... Electronic blackjack and roulette too. NO CRAPS table game or Electronic version. Super Nice Employees! Minus one star for no CRAPS game. No dealers means less money to tips and more for your pocket.

Fun close to home! I like that this casino is in the city and is always clean. The venue is smaller than the other casinos on the reservations, however they do offer good free play and I enjoy their machines. The food in their courtyard is yummy and I have found the staff to be mostly pleasant. In my opinion this casino does well for its location and for the the amount of space it has to work with, I do have mention that I prefer to visit here during daylight, because of the location.

It was a great experience. I had not been there since the renovation,and a friend and I went there to have Thanksgiving dinner. Great food, a good bang for the buck. A nice bar as well, and nightly music that must be good upon seeing the professional stage and PA that I saw. A vast array of gambling machines, but a great place to go even if you do not gamble. But I do love video poker...

Enjoy the Downs, it's State run, low budget Casino! The employees are always nice, and there's many new machines to play. However, it's not a high rollers place!
Promotions are good, and rewards better than most casinos. It's not a full service Casino, no hotel, it does have Cafe & Bar! It doesn't have table games!
No dealer's, no table games! The top winning is about 21 grand on machine's!
It's a State owned Horse Track & Casino! The Horse Racing faculty is seperate of the Slots Casino!

This is in a bad part of town. Very ghetto! Smoke is horrible because of poor ventilation. It seemed like there were more people just casing the joint then actually gambling. I've never seen such rough, dangerous looking people all in one place before. Felt very unsafe leaving in the parking lot. Don't believe the commercials you see for this place, it's very misleading. I would never go back here!!!

I sometimes win at this casino. Last time I went though many of the machines were broken. Not only the ones that have been broken for at least a month but even a few more machines too. Some of the other machines I like to play were sluggish. They would slow down then speed up then slow down and speed up again before finally stopping. If I won the bonus round here you have to pick 3 matching things on the touch screen, I would tap one and nothing would happen or a different thing would come up then the one I touched. Also, when I put my players club card in, some machines wouldn’t accept it or it was hard to punch in my code. I would have to try a dozen or more times and just gave up a few times. They don’t put ANY maintenance into their machines which is super annoying. For that reason I will stop going there if they don’t fix things soon. It’s a fun casino but I wonder if I would have done better sometimes if their machines worked like they are supposed to.
