The annual New Orleans Wine & Food Experience is a much-anticipated event of the New Orleans community, bringing together hundreds of wineries and restaurants to celebrate local cuisine inspired by the melting pot of cultures in NOLA. The four-day affair features wine tastings, the parade-style Royal Street Stroll, dinners with wine pairings, pastry competitions, burlesque shows, food seminars and meet and greets with top winemakers and chefs.
More than 250 wineries are typically represented during the five-day festival, with more than 800 vintages poured at a series of indoor and outdoor events. More than 100 of the city's fine restaurants take part.
