Just returned from my first UrComped trip at Harrahs New Orleans. ,
Thank you UrComped for coordinating the trip. The hotel and Casino is a beautiful property. Most of our time was spent in the Casino due to the horrible weather. There were thunderstorms and tornado warnings the entire trip with the exception of one day.
Didn't have too much luck in the casino . I by no means consider myself a high roller but I had a bankroll of $3500, but It went painstakingly fast. No jackpot this trip but still rate the trip 99%. I saw some wins but nothing that had me gasping. I heard them announce a few jackpots but they weren't mine but still happy for any fellow gambler that comes out a winner. I fully understand the risks of gambling and know that at all times I have a 50/50 chance to either win or lose. This trip it just didn't happen.
We had some amazing food. We ate at Appolines and the Crazy Lobster for dinner one night, the food was amazing. We tried the Harrahs Buffet one night and the food was decent. We had breakfast at Mothers and Cafe Adalaid. Our mode of transportation was Uber and man I can do nothing but sing its praises. EVERY driver was excellent, friendly and very personable. I love the fact that there is no money exchanged with the exception of your tips and all my drivers were tipped well and deservingly so. I've written about this before but can't speak highly enough about the car service I used for Airport transportation who is also an Uber driver but does personal service as well. His name is Mike and his number is (504) 777-0708.
Looking forward to my next gambling excursion in Indiana in March and Las Vegas in April and Coshutta in August. In between Ill be at Downstreams and Osage Tulsa; wish me luck!
Wherever you plant your butt - eat them up and good luck guys!
