The room was nice. Pretty much what I expected for the price. Mandalay has a huge convention center, so you most likely expect some of that type travelers. We happen to be there with 20,000 cheerleaders. Not a big deal. Overall, an exquisite property. Our experienced was ruined our last evening when my boyfriend was attacked by two ladies that appeared to have alternative motives. They gals made several passes at him and he denied them all of them. Frustrated them, he shouted to get away from him and that he was not interested. Then he was attacked by one of the suitors, she literally put a cigarette out on his face. Outraged and stunned by what had just happened he then went to find help from hotel security. Neither of us are naive to what can happen in this city. But to be assaulted, this is inexcusable. Especially at a property like this if we want to be treated like this we would have stayed across the street the Motel 6. Following reporting the incident. Mandalay Security located the women though video and took the women to question her. Charges were pressed. The overall process was very length and the hotel security basically admitted that most likely nothing would come of the incident other than the ladies not being allowed on property again. The hotel extended one-night of the four nights spent as to be reimbursed. This was meaningless to because after the incident we did not feel safe to stay there any longer and checked out and go to another hotel. I have worked in hospitality for 15 years and I assure you if this is one of my guest had ever had such an experience I would have done all to make the stay right. Including comping the entire stay. This was the worst experience I have had in Vegas and we are annual travelers. We will not be back to this property and plan to share the experience in other platforms as well.
