I found myself at Council Oak during Father's Day weekend with family. Mind you, as a non-meat eater, I was curious to see what the menu had to offer someone who prefers mostly plants (and sometimes sea creatures).
I was blow away by the absolute perfection of the lobster bisque. Savory, creamy and best of all, not too rich. Best I've ever had...and I'm a real soup snob. Presentation was clever, too! Although I opted for a Caesar salad as my other dish (delicious), there were many steaks served at our table...and all received rave reviews. Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right.
Service was impeccable throughout the meal. Living in Miami I have encountered the absolute worst service 9 out of 10 times you eat at a restaurant...so this was VERY refreshing.
Best of all was knowing my dad enjoyed being spoiled and treated so lovely on such a special weekend. ?
