Worst hotel experience of our lives. Upon arriving at your property we were told that we were being upgraded from the non-smoking Deluxe King Room we had booked to a King Parlor Suite because the room we had booked was not available. The room that we were upgraded to was a smoking room my husband has major allergies and cannot be around cigarette smoke and most definitely cannot sleep in a room that had cigarette smoking going on in it.
There was no hot water in the bathroom the whole time we were there, we waited over 40 minutes for the maintenance man to arrive, which he did not, my husband had to go get him from Reception. When he did arrive he told the us that this "happens all the time in the end rooms and I'm sorry that there's nothing we can do".
The phone in our room did not work, we had to use our cell phones to call Reception when we needed assistance. We asked for the manager Angela Brown to give us some sort of compensation for our horrible experience and all she refunded us was some sort of resort fee of $16. She said she was sorry & sent us on our way. She acted as if she did us a favor by upgrading us to a more expensive room... but the room was useless. We contacted the corporate office who told us to contact Kennedy Smith in customer relations to get this worked out, but he never called us back. I urge anyone thinking of staying here not to.
