We were hesitant about cruising MSC, but in the end were pleasantly surprised. The smaller drink packages were nice for us, the food was average, buffet has insane set up that causes you to go to multiple lines for silver ware, napkins, sauces, good and drinks and can take WAY too long to get your meal. Def could use improvement. Cabin/rooms were very nice and we received a free upgrade from inferior to beautiful balcony room, staff and crew were very friendly and helpful - being very appreciative of additional cash tips, adult pool was nice and shows were better than what we've seen on Carnival. Casino was small and had no craps table which was disappointing (pit boss said MSC will never have craps tables on their ships as they're not money makers ????), but overall we really enjoyed being in the casino every night and the free drinks in the casino was great. They don't mind if you get a drink and take it somewhere else on the ship, just have names on a VIP list and are extremely accommodating when it comes to the free drinks. Had a nice little win, saw 2 others with $12k and $16k wins. Can't complain about that! Would do another free MSC cruise, but probably wouldn't pay to go on one. Thanks urcomped!
