I have been a regular at the Silver Slipper for over 10 years. Recently my family and I went out to Silver Slipper for dinner at the Jubilee buffet and I had a very rare and strange incident there. We went on a Wednesday night. After being seated the chair that I was sitting in felt warm but I did not thk much of it. As I preceedd to go back to the food bar another patron pulled me to the side to let me know there was something dark and nasty looking on the back of my pants. I immediately went to the restroom. There was a black oily substance on my pants so I removed my pants to try to get the stain out. Soon after I started having a burning sensation to my back side. A patron in the restroom went back to the buffet to report it. She never came back so I returned to the buffet which was closing down and reported it to the cashier. She immediately reported it to her supervisor who came out and spoke with me and said that she would get security. I waited for a long period of time but never spoke to security. My family was still eating the buffet but I was so humiliated because everyone kept telling me that I had something on my pants. I went back to the table to inspect the chair and it has some type of oily substance in it. I never spoke to security. I had reserved a complimentary room that night but decided to go home because I felt that I needed to go home to take a tub bath. Upon arriving at home I went to the bathroom. The substance was still on my skin and stained my toilet seat black. At 230 am I called the casino and spoke with night security who told me to return the following day to do an incident report so I did that. I also brought the pants that I was wearing and security photographed them. After a few days I called and spoke with the Risk Manager who said that he never received the report but that he would go and look at the report and call me back. Needless to say I never received a call. Silver Slipper has a good reputation and I feel somewhat different about going to visit again because my case was overlooked. Apparently it was negligence of the attendants to properly clean tables and chairs properly and that they do not value regular customers or just don't care. This casino is close to my home and was one of my favorite places but I feel differently now. I do not feel that I can patronize a business who does care about the health and safety of their patrons. All that I needed was someone to address my complaint. But it was never done.So therefore the rating of the establishment has greatly declined.
