We have been visiting this casino for probably 10 years, and as is the case with nearly all casino's, the quality of the compensation / rewards programs have declined over time. We thought the addition of the hotel a few years ago would be an improvement, but to us it just seemed that the machines were adjusted to pay for the project. It is a nice hotel, though one would expect a new facility to be nice. Prices are very high if you consider the hotel must have been designed to keep you around so you will gamble more, but unless you are comped, the room may take a good bite out of your fun money. The entire hotel is also no smoking, which might be great for non smokers (I do not smoke myself), but is inconvenient at best for people who do smoke.
The casino seems to be in a constant state of renovation, which (to us) has meant sections of the casino are usually closed, less machines are available and it can get crowded fast. The latest round of remodeling includes the main restaurant, but again has floor space closed off, the current layout is cluttered and many of the machines we liked have been replaced, so we spend a lot of time looking for something we enjoy playing.
I think it is a common belief that Indian operated casino's have lower returns than state operated casino's, but how well you do is probably as much on luck as anything else, so if you treat it as entertainment, it can be a good time. The employees are always friendly and the food is good, even though both food and drinks are overpriced compared to the level of rewards players receive.
