I don't have a problem with this place I don't think any one should the beach is right there . the boardwalk is right outside across they have the pirate thing miniature golf and water park . they have parking . there is a bar in which I didn't check out but it is there . the pool is clean and they have a spot where you can over look the boardwalk . the room's are CLEAN ok . to take you family for a day or two it is fine. .
Liked the pies here. Haven't tried anything else. Came with a group and they put us in a group room and served us. Service was good. A bit hard to spot from streets. Driving on Jones you could miss it if you blink.
The only thing I found appealing was the convenience...easy access to the boardwalk, beach and restaurants.
Negatives:
1. Did not receive beach passes as advertised.
2. Was given a lesser room than I reserved, yet still had to pay the price of the nicer room.
3. Room was not cleaned. Small toys, bugs and dirt on the floors when I entered the room. Stained sheets on the bed and used towels left in the room. As well, pee on the outside of the toilet.
All in all my experience led me to believe I was deceived and not welcomed.
What bothered me the most was that housekeeping left an empty envelope with, "Enjoy your stay," written on it, clearly encoutaging to leave a tip.
The entire room and bathroom was not cleaned the slightest, and dirty towels from a previous guest were left in the room.
I'm giving it a 4 for location. The motel itself gets a 3. Which is still good, just dont expect a residents inn. It a shore place. Enough said. I must add they did great renovations to the bathrooms. Rain shower, directional jets, great.
