Klondike Sunset Casino is a locals casino located on 2.2 acres (0.89 ha) of land at 444 West Sunset Road, west of Boulder Highway, in Henderson, Nevada.
It was initially owned by Tom Yarbrough, who opened it as Tom's Sunset Casino in 1989. The casino closed in 1998, due to financial losses and new competition. John Woodrum purchased the casino and reopened it as the Klondike Sunset Casino in 1999, after a $5 million renovation. The casino was a sister property to Woodrum's Klondike Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in nearby Paradise, Nevada. After Woodrum's death in 2014, the casino was closed and sold to Carl Giudici, whose plans to renovate and reopen the casino failed to materialize. Bruce Familian and Jon Athey purchased the casino in December 2015, and reopened it in August 2016, after an eight-month renovation.

Great get away for us. The hotel rooms are spacious clean and nicely decorated. Reasonable pricing. Several restaurants and several fast food places to choose from for meals. Entertainment offered on the weekend. Large inviting casino area that's clean and doesn't smell like smoke and stale liquor. We really enjoyed our visit and will return again.
Great place to eat and have a nice time. Oysterbar is THE BEST!!! Great food! Get there early on the weekend to avoid a semi long wait. If you're willing to sit at the bar you can get in faster. Really cool set up. The Pan Roast is my favorite but you really can't go wrong with any selection! Great price for what you get. About $18 - $23.
THE MACHINES ARE SUPER DUPER TERRIBLE .. YOU LITERALLY CAN'T WIN HERE AT ALL ... You can go anywhere for decent food in this city stay away from the machines in this place they S U C K .. Hopefully sunset station and other casinos will force this one out of business the owner apparently doesn't care about the restaurant service that has been reported over and over again as being less then sub-par or loosening the machines because they are the tightest in Henderson by far ... So hopefully enough people take there money elsewhere and this place closes once again I will never step foot in this GREEDY hole again .. Don't be shocked if this casino either A. CLOSES AGAIN OR B. GETS SOLD TO ANOTHER CASINO OWNER (never very busy and horrible machines that NEVER PAY and when you have tight machines people tend to never come back for a second screwing) P.S This review is from someone that will **NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN YOUR CASINO**
They still have the $5.55 prime rib special. Our server, Violet, was pleasant. Only 1 server for 5 tables, so she was busy. Miss the old menu with all sorts of specials. Especially the ham & eggs special in the morning.

Love it... Clean rooms, comfortable accommodations, loose slots, good area. But can only give four stars because they never mentioned that I would have to place a security deposit even with my debit card as my payment method. Other than that i loved it.
