I wouldn't think of this hotel as a 4 star hotel - I think it is a 3 star hotel max due to the uncomfortable bed mattresses, the errors made in breakfast orders to the room, malfunctioning room safe's, and no fitted bed sheets used to make beds. My family and I had 5 rooms booked here for 4 nights.. we found the hotel and rooms clean and overall the hotel is quiet, but there were several things that were really annoying. Even a double room has two single beds joined to eachother - so you feel a gap/dip in the middle. We had a double room for a couple, a junior suite for a family of 4 and a third type of room - i don't think this hotel has any double or queen or king beds. When a couple books a queen room or double room you expect one queen bed! Then, when you get into the bed you realize there is no fitted sheet perhaps because a double or queen fitted sheet wouldn't fit over two single mattresses. Furthermore, the mattresses are awful, my husband and I had back pain after two nights. Our younger son kept falling into the middle dip of the two single beds.. and we booked a "junior suite" which is meant to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. 3 rooms out of 5 had malfunctioning safe's, and all of us had some issues with breakfast ordered to the room - from forgotten toast or beans to too much or too little of one item. I won't be staying here again.
Not a great experience, from the moment I arrived the staff were surly, the parking available is completely inadequate for the size of the hotel. Ordered club sandwich by room service, nice quality but very cold. Beds have seen better days, dips in the mattress. Breakfast is buffet style and very expensive, did not try it after room service experience. Location is not good. Not quite sure how this hotel has acquired 4 stars, but from experience I would say the facilities do not warrant it.
We arrived after midnight to check in for a one night stay. No one informed us that you had to pay to park the car outside the hotel when we checked in. There was no light over the signs in the car park so we missed them as it was pitch dark when we arrived. Just received a parking fine and called the hotel who were VERY unhelpful and said that they have nothing to do with the company in charge of the car park (as if).
