Empeeke Aya

They close too early. 4:00. After spending time at the village, then taking air boat ride there was no time to eat their. They made it plain they were closing. Sandwiches were offered only. We left. 12 people in the party would have been a good sale.

Great food and service. BLT with thick cut back was great. Reasonable prices.

The gator bites and frog legs are really good. The catfish was average. The patio seating was really nice but unfortunately it was raining when we visited so we couldn't really enjoy it as much. Overall, I think this is a great restaurant if you are an adventurous eater and want to try alligator.

Fun, side-of-the-road diner. Food was great! I expected to be gouged given no other nearby options, but prices were reasonable, and the food was even better. Be sure to read the Miccosukee history part of the menu! And, to be fair, the place is a little run down, but don't be turned off. The food is good, staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean. :)

Really good for quick stop to get refreshed after an airboat tour. Place is simple, but stuff nice and all the food really tasty. I love that there are no sweet sodas served, ask for local ice tea, it is delicious. If you ever wanted to try Everglades specials, get the Sampler with frog legs and fried gator ;-)

Long drive, great place. Tired from walking at Shark Valley, hot, hungry and what did we find less than 5 minutes down the road? The Miccosukee Restaurant! Indoor and outdoor seating, tables, booths and counter. Friendly staff, clean space, nice and open. A great view even inside looking over the Everglades. (And some aggressive Starlings) My friend had the Cuban Sandwich (Huge) and fries. Took half of that home! I had the Indian Taco with Cole slaw (very good). This came with Fry Bread and piles of food! (Advertised as almost big enough for two, but I ate the whole thing!). It was delicious. Both meals came with drinks. The meals were wonderful and reasonably priced, just over $20 for both. Leave a nice tip for the lovely waitress. Don't miss the gift shop or the gas station next door.
