OMG!!! 🤩 it was so good, we had to go back the next evening. Our waiter Sean was the greatest & the flourless cake was to die for 🎂♥️

Restaurant, yes, sports bar, not a chance. The TV's are so outdated it's almost impossible to sit there and watch sports in the "sports bar". The food is decent and the service as well, but for goodness sakes, spend a few bucks and upgrade the horrible TVs in the "sports bar" if you insist on calling yourself one. Updated April 2018, same crappy TV's. Hey Player's Club, the 2000's are calling! Sure they have a lot of TV's, but they are ALL in standard definition. Huh? A sports bar? We went there last year to watch the college football championship and were disappointed at the poor quality of the TV's. Went back for the the same game this year, thinking for sure they'd have improved, but no, still the same lousy TV's. The thing is it would be an easy and inexpensive fix (it's not the TV's just the way the signal is distributed), but they obviously don't care enough to spend a couple bucks to make it right. So, don't call yourself a sports bar. Every other bar on the beach (including their sister bar out back) has HDTV. There's no reason to sit in there and watch 90's television. On the other hand, the food's always good there.

We were staying beachcomer hotel, and of course they were lovely but the bar next door “ Player Bar” was unsatisfactory. The food was excellent but the service of the bar tender was very very rude. We had called up to get a carry out for our room and the gentlemen on the phone had forgotten about us on the phone and so we hung up. My husband jus decided to walk up to ordered it and the guy asked him if that was him on the phone and of course my hubby said yes. The guy admitted he had forgotten but never apologized and was completely rude! I will never order directly from them again. I will stay at the hotel but not eat the food or order from them! Worst service ever!

Located right on St. Petersburg beach. Nice Bar and offers free darts, pool, video games. Great spot to catch your favorite sports game or just hang out and enjoy cocktails.

Was at the Players. The bartender Julia is fantastic and a lot of fun I would really recommend going there

Stayed at the Beachcomber, and went to Players many times to play the free pool and other games. Drink prices are good and always served with a smile. Andrew the bartender, was great. Always had a smile, and was just a genuine nice guy. Not sure what everyone else is complaining about. Didn't get much food, but what I did get was really good!
