This place is world class! Once you've had a dry aged steak here, other steak houses will disappoint you! They should claim the MBenz motto: the best or nothing! Outstanding. I can't rave enough!

My husband & I dined there last night with 3 other friends. We asked for the wine list and one of our friends ordered a bottle of wine which 4 of us shared. The price on the wine list was $50. We then ordered a second bottle. We told the server to put one bottle on our bill and one on the friend's bill. When we received our bills, we were shocked to see that we were charged $100 for each bottle of wine. When we questioned it, we were told that the price listed on the wine list was for 1/2 bottle. I reviewed the entire list and there were maybe 4 wines that listed 1/2 bottle next to it. A gentleman who was supposedly the manager came over to our table and again stated that the price was for 1/2 bottle.. We have been to fine dining restaurants all over the country and never have we seen a wine list that is all bottles and has just a few marked as 1/2 bottle. The server should have pointed out that the price was for 1/2 bottle. Although the food was very good, we felt ripped off on the wine. We have been to Council Oak on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed ourselves. We have also recommended it to others. After this experience we think twice before returning. You don't expect a fine dining restaurant to engage in this type of deceptive behavior. We have no problem paying their prices but we don't appreciate what we felt was bait and switch.

Grand time over all at this place. We tried the Lobby Bar and they played good. Music as some people was dancing. No food available at this lobby bar only drinks but they are good. So we went to Council Oaks for food and we ordered NY steak bone in. Delicious and tender. Must try when in Hard Rock Casino.

Had a great dinner at Council Oaks last night. We have eaten at premium steak houses all over the county and the ambience and atmosphere at Council Oaks is tops! They do a great job of creating an upscale experience. Highly recommend the smoked old fashioned prepared table side. The bacon appetizer is fantastic and the wagyu filet was well worth the expense.

Took my wife for her Birthday to Hard Rock and through concierge made a special “Birthday”note reservation at Counsil Oaks Steakhouse. She kindly gave my wife a Birthday pin to wear. After I informed waiter (apparently the special note) was not received but he did wish her a Happy Birthday. Our meal delivery was slow but we enjoyed the steaks and scallops. At the end I expected at least a little something to acknowledge her special day but instead were offered dessert options. We have been to many high end restaurants for Birthdays none of which have disappointed. I felt sorry for my wife, and don’t tell me I should have seen a manager... change your culture.

There are 2 sides to the restaurant. 1 side is basically reservation only (they fill up quickly) or maybe no reservations if they have space. The other side is self seating, so you may find yourself sharing a spot with strangers but its fine because at least you can still order some food and eat there. Great live music, good service and good food. Mushrooms were a bit salty but still very delicious. Steak and potato was perfect.

One of the best steakhouses I have ever been to. All the food we had was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is more casual and modern than Berns but the quality of food is very comparable. Highly recommend if you want to go to a steakhouse or nice dinner.

Our food took 2 hours. Our steak was rare and bloody (We asked for medium). High quality dinning but food wasn’t too good. The person that was making our steak doesn’t even seems to care. The side order was average food and not even hot. I guess I expected better food for such an expensive price, but it’s disappointing. Never coming back here again. I heard this place is high quality food, but I guess I came in the wrong night.

Went there for my birthday March 1st. Food and service was delicious. Had the Risotto and Scallops, claims and lobster for the appetizer. Went Saturday night 2 weeks later, ordered the same dish. Food and service was mediocre. Scallops overcooked an rubbery, Risotto was lukewarm and lacked seasoning. Soon disappointed. Brought a guest from out-of-town too,
