Very tight slots! Most are video, very few reel type left. I am very disappointed about that. Looks like they removed the wheel of fortune machines, replaced them with new ones that are $10 a bet. We need more casinos in the area so there's some competition! I don't EXPECT big wins but do expect to at least sit at a machine for a little while and get some entertainment value for my bucks. That doesn't happen here.

Free play or food voucher - take the food voucher! Burgers will cost you $8 for a plain one, $11 for a double in the Cowboy Cafe. Fireside Grill is extremely high priced with (for example) a pork chop dinner for $18. Did we win? Free play was $10, we spent money on top of that, so machines are tight. People are friendly and they do allow big trucks to park behind the hotel (be prepared to walk around the buildings to go to the casino). The most interesting thing for us was the history of Dodge City all around the casino. Two stars for people being polite, the history, and truck parking.

Firesides Grill- perfect steaks and a choice of healthy sides. Our waitress was excellent and very friendly. It did take us a little while to get a box and our ticket, but she was a bit busy. The casino was clean and not to much of a smoke smell. The temperature was perfectly cool which was welcome for someone with hot flashes.

We like going here when we're in town, to eat at the restaurant. (and throw a few quarters in the machines) One such time, I parked my new vehicle out as far away from other vehicles as I could, to protect it from door dings, etc.... near two other 'new' vehicles, that had done the same. Came out a couple hours later, to find someone had backed into the front of my vehicle. No problem.... this IS a Casino, with cameras everywhere.... right!?! Worked with Security, whom was really nice, and then they came back and said their video surveillance was 'inconclusive' and they couldn't help me. THANK GOODNESS, a state Gaming agent heard this, got with me, and said she'd check into it. Two hours later she called me, and said they had the whole incident and had identified who had backed into my vehicle, and had turned the information in to the Police. Now WHY couldn't have the initial Security Supervisor found that? I guess it was a lot easier to tell me it was inconclusive, rather than actually find the incident.... It had all the appearances of lip service, and being lazy. Again, thank goodness for the Gaming Agent, stepping up and taking care of a customer. Without finding out who had damaged my vehicle, I would have been on the hook for my $500 deductible, and the 'hit' on my insurance. But, instead 'their' insurance had to take care of it, and I didn't have to notify mine. The damage they did was around $3,500 !

Spent 2 days there. And without a doubt their machines are rigged! Seen one hand pay for $1200 in 2 days! Talked with one employee And asked him if machines were set up to pay at 75% pay back, And he laughed and said you would be lucky to find a machine that paid 75% paid back!

Smoke is bad and winning is seldom. However, the people are nice and the food is good. I've also won hot seat drawings, so that helps! Fun to gamble, but dont plan on withdrawing money, the machines are deposit only!

Me and my wife go here every valentines day when the kids are in school its the best.... We always set a limit and go from there, wether we are up or down it has always been a fun and great time. The staff are real friendly and the food was great. Would like it better if they had some kind of valentines lunch special for two. Either way this is a great place to go if your feeling lucky
