Triple Crown Room

We had a blast watching Justify win the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown at Pimlico, but we can’t give this track 5-Stars. We grew up in Kentucky going to Churchill Downs (Louisville) & Keenland (Lexington). The quality of the seats, facilities, and overall experience just isn’t as nice as other tracks. It just feels old and run down. The Preakness is exciting and we gave 3-Stars for the historical factor, but renovation is definitely needed!

Was at the Black Eyed Susan races in a suite with friends. Very nice affair with great food and drinks. Bet on most of the races and won on most so it was a great day!

We attended the Preakness Stakes Race here, and it was a dismal location for such an important event. There was only one entrance for the most second-most expensive ticket, the Vine and Mug, and the line for security forced waits more than 1 hour long, then when we reached security, it was a cursory wave. The security was a joke! When we finally got in, they were out of wine, which was guaranteed with our ticket. I did not place one single bet while at this event because the mud was horrendous and dangerous. I couldn't reach a betting window. A member of our party fell the first two minutes at the event, and another slipped and fell the last two minutes. Access to and from this facility is the worse I've ever seen, and I've been to hundreds of sporting and recreational events. We will not return to Pimlico for any future races.

I love horse racing but this place is always crowded it always has a mixture of clientele from all walks of life and that is just putting it mildly. I usually like a mixed crowd but there are more people that are influenced buy some sort of substance or another then I would like to surround myself with. The horses are beautiful

You can feel the history here. It's not a modern fancy race track. It's a living , breathing piece of Baltimore and American history. The horses have a good track to run on and staff is friendly. Concessions won't cost you a long shot trifecta.

Had a scheduled, reserved party for 10. When we arrived the race track was expecting us to have a party of 125. Yes, really. I was told when I arrived I was to locate Guest Services. Employees tried telling me where it was but I never found it. All the glasses on each table were dirty. Took 2 hrs to get a drink while sitting at our table. Took another hr to get a straw. Food was also late. Package I paid for included a 20 min tour (which was actually 5 mins) & a picture if our party w/ winning jockey. Sure, they take a picture but they send it to your phone or email. A print out woukd have been better & more professional. All in all very disappointing!

Pimlico changes Preakness rules on the fly. No sodas or water allowed in. Found out this at the front door and had to leave beverages on the sidewalk. The water you couldn't bring in was $5 a pop inside. Prices inflated for a captive audience. A lot of upset patrons. It feels like organizers go out of their way to upsets the patrons every year. This will be my last Preakness visit.

Was there for sunrise on hilltop, tour of the facility, with there kids. They had stopped tours by 9am (we thought 10), we were there at 9:01. Fortunately we were able to see some of the tour and horses, which kids loved. The tour is great, our third year.

Went on a free tour (and there was food!) of Pimlico race track and the grounds. Although, Pimlico is no longer in pristine condition, it was awesome to hear all the history that is at the race track.
