Spirit of the Water

I gamble exclusively at Treasure Island. For the most part is probably the fairest place I've ever gambled. I enjoy the benefits the discounts the amenities. staff has always been courteous. And there's only been one time I had an incident with a charge on a credit card from the hotel in 20 years plus. Upon talking to management it was reversed immediately with no argument whatsoever. And even offered my family and I free buffets for there error. When it comes to gambling there is no 100% for sure bet. My players points earn me awesome Rewards a free hotel stays food slot play water park etc. I'm sure there's always someone to say something negative about any casino but I could truly say if it wasn't for my own greed I would definitely have profited off Treasure Island. I believe I became a better Gambler and take it for what it is and only gamble what I can afford so that way I can truly enjoy the place.

Spirit of the Water

Was there last night to celebrate Christmas with our children. Not sure it started off great with one of valet people yelling at us for where we pulled up, even though we were told to park there by the 1st valet guy? We were then unable to get in our rooms until 5:30 (difficult with children), no apology for that or compensation. We then went to the waterpark, which was totally understaffed? On a Saturday night? Service was awful. After that the adults went down for dinner at 7:30 to Prime Time, seriously they were out of the prime rib sandwich? We had bragged to our kids how delicious they were and a signature for your casino. Once again poor planning for a Saturday night. Felt that quite a few of your personnel were not very friendly in more than one department. I have to say the older gentleman in the bellhop was actually the most friendly and helpful person we dealt with (kudos to him for having a smile and actually speaking to us respectfully. He should get a raise and give classes to others). We did enjoy the band, great entertainment. Sorry to say you will not be our choice for our next family gathering.

We had a great time at Treasure Island. The hotel was very nice, the Blue Brothers were over the Top!!! the best show I have seen in years. The trade winds buffet was excellent. The casino was a lot of fun, now if they could get the smoking out or in a smaller area!!! Maybe with a better exhaust system for the smoking. This would increase the number of return customers and make a lot of people's eyes stop getting red. All and all had a wonderful time on the stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in the casinos for a little fun.

Beautiful rooms but I left the do not disturb sign on the door. The cleaning staff entered my room anyways. The common areas were very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the main casino was very smoky, couldn't really tell the difference in the non-smoking area.

Treasure island has upgraded! The little pool they had, hot tub and fitness room. They have a watermark now. Haven't yet been in there, i must reserve a room soon and see the package it comes with. The casino has a closed doors non smoking room. I enjoy it in there, little space but quite from the smoke. The staff there are the very best. Polite nice very helpful. U can always find a staff working every where.

Fun place to visit, not only does Treasure Island provide a fun and exciting gaming experience that actually pays out better than other casinos (you may just hit a jackpot), but it also has a water park, bowling alley and a marina nearby, I had an awesome experience while here. I ate at the buffet and would highly recommend it, the food was fresh, with a lot of options to choose from and what made my experience at the buffet even more enjoyable was the amazingly friendly and cheerful staff (Shout Out to Christina C.) This staff member who was working at the dessert bar at the time of my visit while extremely busy, took the time to help me and find what I was looking for and made some awesome recommendations, Thank you to her and all of the staff and management of Treasure Island for all of your hard work, you all are very good at what you do. Definitely will be back!!!

Spirit of the Water

Rooms are clean. Tons of slots. The reason for two stars is the pool staff/lifeguards. Very disrespectful to many guest looking to get a clean towel. Kids were grabbing dirty towels from the hamper. Major health hazard!! At that point, I tried to file a compliant but the pool staff had no manager in charge. The bar staff assisted as much as possible which is much appreciated! After an hour and many compliments to bar staff, clean towels appeared.

Went to see Jeff Foxworthy, great show which is why they got 2 stars. The seating is is reason for not getting more than that. I consider myself normal sized and have never had a problem fitting into seats before and this includes airplane seats. The only thing I can say about the seats there is thankfully there were empty chairs in my row because everyone one around me (me included) couldn't fit on just one of those seats even if I was paid to. So if you go there and you aren't small or a child don't plan on being comfortable. If the show is crowded you'll know the people next to you intimately by the end of it whether you want to or not.

If we could put 2.5 stars we would. Our room was dated with worn out bedding and furniture. When we walked in it was very muggy and had a mildew smell. Half the lights in the room didn't work. It was clean though so that was good! The water park was a lot of fun but the slides were only open a short little bit. In fact, we were only able to go down once and they closed again. Bowling was a good time! Food there was also very good. Slots were extremely tight, not much fun at all. No playback at all for me! At check out I was going to let them know and wasn't even asked how my stay was. I did tell him 1/2 the lights didn't work he didn't seem to care.

Spirit of the Water

My husband and I came to Treasure Island for an adult getaway without the kids. Other reviews attracted us with talk of a swim up bar, on site food, dinner cruise, and spa. The swim up bar and the Lagoon in general was a great time! Coming during the middle of the week, it was quiet and service terrific. At other times of the year or week, I'm sure it gets to be wildly busy at the bar and wild with lots of kids, but the middle of the week was good for the relaxing stay we desired. However, a drawback to the middle of the week was the cancelled cruise. We scheduled 2 days in advance for a Thursday evening but it was cancelled the day before when not enough people signed up. We are doing the Spa in a couple days, so have nothing to report on that yet, but are excited, and we are also satisfied with the food available. Staying in the Wolf tower was a great choice, everything is very new and well kept! The rooms are clean, and we are impressed by the bathrooms & finishing touches such as the lighting. Furthermore, the staff is super friendly and everyone seems to enjoy working here! We walked through the casino and were there for a couple hours, and it is quite large with smoking and non-smoking areas. In the non-smoking area, there are only slot machines available. There are adequate drink and dining options scattered throughout the casino, and the event center is connected for ease of access. We can see how bringing children to Treasure Island would be a good time with other things such as an arcade available besides the pool and bowling, but this made for a great getaway for us!
