Harvest Buffet

Slots do not pay out. They don't even give you enough jackpots to keep you going for a while. But that should be expected when they are trying to finance the new Hotel addition that's under construction. They take, take, take with extremely minimal return. Before you finance their new hotel, spend that money on your own home✌

Harvest Buffet

Far from the madding crowd of famous luxury Casinos in the world is Cache Creek. It is the only one in Yolo County in the Valley of Brooks, about 90 miles from San Francisco Bay Area by way of I-80. It is less crowded than all the well known Casinos in Nevada and California. Scenic view of the Valley and a lot of plantations along the way before you finally reach Casino Resort. There are no other tourist attractions in the complex. However, a new complex building is almost in completion and soon this Casino and Resort will be bigger and better. There are restaurants and bars around and a gift shop. Many great Events are held here, Kenny G was here recently and many more upcoming. Tried to get a reservation at C2 Steak House but hard to get one. Called up there times the day before we came left a message but never got an answer back. So we just came to the restaurant, and got seated at the Bar. It was good then, the steak was super anyway. The hotel rooms are clean and well kept, very impressed!

The casino and hotel has some construction work being done right now. When it's all finished, this will be a five-star place. I don't think there's another casino in California that could beat the scenery that surrounds this place. It reminds me of Napa Valley.

Whee! Cache Creek is about 4 hours round trip from my house, and someone in my family is still bound to be going there at least every other weekend. Now, Cache Creek may not be the best casino, but it's literally all we have available. They took out some of the fun machines, it's very smoky and crowded with people getting off tour buses, the usual. However, they sometimes have coupons or promotions which is nice to use some rewards. The buffet is really where it's at though. Friday nights... seafood night... how I love you. People go there and eat nothing but snow crab and prime rib. Plate after plate. Piled a foot high, 3 in a row. It's really a sight to behold. Food is okay. The sheer quantity of all you can eat overshadows the fact that a lot of it is average or in the case of the desserts that aren't pie, awful. It's not the best, but it's all I've ever known and it's a beautiful drive that's worth my time.

Harvest Buffet

Having grown up in casino town, Reno, the offering and personnel were awful representations of selling the connected casino atmosphere. They want to entice you with overflowing service. Not that late. No hot food like a premium hot dog. Could nuke a pita pocket from freezer. Usually such places offer much more than a hot dog at super deals.

Drink runners are slow on the floor. The new floor is nice though and they have new chairs for the slots too which are comfortable. As always the food is pretty good at any of the restaurants. Notably the Sports Page bar

"Play here play the best". While this resort has plenty of slots & tables, their choices of eateries however are lacking in my opinion. The restaurants are mostly resembling fast/quick style foods. Maybe my palette is spoiled hailing from S.F and the bay area, but personally I feel they could have done a bit more with quality of food. The games themselves was fine. Ample amount of tables games and variety of modern slot machines. Payouts will vary of course. All in all it was average.

Harvest Buffet

I played there for 4 hours and not once got a bonus and neither did the people around me. I've gone to other casino and always get a bonus no matter how small. This place you have to spend minimum 100 to see any results. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is for there Chinese food it's amazing but gambling not any time soon. I'll be taking my business else where.

I've never won anything here. Not even enough to get me excited or say I had a good time. But the bartender at the bar was a wonderful lady very warm and welcoming. The only thing pleasant about my visit there.

I enjoyed my stay at Cache Creek. The rewards program is very generous and there's a wide selection of slot machines and table games. A few of the areas are pretty cramped, but the casino does offer a sizeable no smoking area. My family ate at the Harvest Buffet, which had fair pricing. The food selection was diverse, though some of the entrees did not seem to be rotated out.
