Border Inn

My husband and I ate our brunch here. Wonderfully glorious meat options. I had the biscuits and gravy. I was satisfied. Service was very hospitable. If I'm ever in the area that's where I'll go to eat.

Border Inn

I admire people here for making the promises clean, especially in the desert where it can be very dusty. The place is simple and the room is compact but has about everything one may need when traveling. I am glad to stay at this place with a restaurant opening long hours, which makes our stay easy.

Border Inn

I went to the Border Inn last week with a party of 5 and had absolutely the worst dining experience any of us have ever had. We only went there to use the laundry services and showers as we were passing through and thought we may as well eat while we waited for the dryer. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 roast beef sandwiches and a chicken fried steak. First of all, we were one of only 3 tables there when we ordered. A table of 8 arrived about half an hour after us. We had been told "It won't be long" after an hour of waiting but had no apology or explanation for the wait time. We sat at our table for an HOUR AND A HALF after ordering and STILL had no food and no drink refills. To our horror, we then watched the table of 8 start getting their food. I immediately complained to the girl serving and got an unbelievably rude response. No apology, no explanation other than "well we had ran out of gravy". I was appalled at how I was spoken to by the girl and couldn't fathom how anyone working in the food & bev industry could be so rude to someone who had received such bad service. When the food finally arrived it had been so over-seasoned it was inedible. AVOID this place at all costs.

Border Inn

We stayed at the “RV Park” which was ok for a one night stop. There were several full time RVs and trailers. $25 plus tax. We got some pie and soup at the restaurant. It was just okay. Slot machines. Small gift shop. Cashier seemed indifferent. Gasoline was high. But there is no where else for many miles so we were thankful it was there where we needed it.

Border Inn

Right on the border between Utah and Nevada, about 8 miles from Great Basin NP. A beautiful area, but services and restaurants are few and far between, especially in other than the summer. Ate several meals there, all were good (not fancy) and well priced. Certainly fill up your tank before leaving "town".

Border Inn

Not fancy but a warm clean room to stop and rest at for the night. Beautiful landscape and skies surround you in the vast and sculpted Great Basin. Utah sign on one sign, Nevada on the other. General store/restaurant/casino serves up an excellent open-faced roast beef sandwich with real mashed potatoes. An iconic American road trip stop along the Loneliest Highway in America!
