Botero

I ate there 2 days in a row. Both times ordered the fillet minion, Butterfly style, both medium. The first time it was absolutely delicious, no less than delicious. The second time it was bad, no less than bad! I do not know if it was a different Chef, or just that this meat was from high quality and the second wasn't. But it is just weird that 2 evenings in a row there was such a big gap between the two.

If I had a reset button I would have used it last night when I walked into Botero at the Wynn Las Vegas for dinner. Many times I have wished for a reset button that would reset conversations, events, situations, sometimes even days. Last night this button would have earned it’s keep. Have you ever been involved with an experience so disappointing that when the manager asks what can he do the answer is nothing. When he asks what went wrong you are at a loss for words and reply everything. When your dinner guest and yourself try to find the best description for the experience and settle on train wreck, Chernobyl, Titanic. We had chosen Botero as the place to celebrate our 33rd anniversary with friends of 40 years. A choice we thought that would be another evening too look back on as a memorable dinner full of stories and laughs. It will be memorable. The sad thing is that tables around us were having a wonderful dinner with a combination of quality service and a wonderful menu. We were not. I have no idea what the food at Botero was like. By the time it arrived I had lost my appetite. Service is the beginning and the end of a dinning experience and if I had to rate my experience with service at Botero last night on a scale of 1-5. I would ask that we add 0. As I walked out the door I really wished I had that reset button.

Botero

Great Experience as always... the hudson valley fois gras is off the chains. The steak and lobster was very good, though slightly overcooked. Be specific in how you like your meats and seafoods done, so if they really screw up its on them AND so that the likelihood of a mistake in the first place is lessened. What else... Beautiful hostesses, waiters are pretty good, sommelier is knowledgeable, and his selection was pretty spot on and within budget. Close to roullete tables. Get the round table for extra room for a group of 3-5. And bring your money; this restaurant has a skill for running up super high bills, even when people are consciously trying to avoid that. It's one of those places that has a few things on the menu outside of your main course that you "absolutely have to have", and sometimes you decide you need more than one. so... To enjoy oneself with a little alcohol: $125+ a person.

Great food & scene but absent service. Maybe because we were table of 11 (auto gratuity)? Forgot bread plates, knives, lack of drink orders or any type of check ins.

Botero

We ate at botero on 10/18/2013 and it was simply amazing. The best steak I have ever eaten. The new york strip was as tender as any filet and packed with flavor. But if that wasn't enough the accompanying sauces were just as amazing as the protiens. Sides were nothing special (except for the Mac and cheese which is the best I've ever tasted). Our waitress perfectly paired a delicious red with our steaks and the whole experience was just top notch. I would expect nothing less from a wynn property

My husband and I had a wonderful experience a few weeks ago when we went for our anniversary. I loved the decor, very tastefully done. We were very happy with the food too. I had the Branzino, it was delicious! They even brought us a sweet little ice cream desert because i had mentioned we were there for our anniversary when i had originally made the reservation...it was a very sweet gesture. We will definitely be back!
