The price and service are the only reasons I would even entertain rating this place 5 stars. After a long talk with the manager about my room smelling like smoke she had me moved to another room. She was very nice about it which I was surprised about.

This company is literally the most disgusting underhanded company I have dealt with in the almost 30 years I have lived in Las Vegas. Not only has this place been known for people being shot or rooms burning down. They also have this worst lying management team I have have ever witnessed. This place preys on the poor. Big you care about your family you would not let them live here. Even if it is an uncle you despise. No one should be put through this mess. They do this thing were the first 3 weeks you are there they will tell you its okay to pay your rent anytime on the day it is due and if you don't pay it by 7 am the next day then you will owe a late fee. Then as you get closer to living there for 30 days 28 days to be exact they know the rules change and you don't pay taxes anymore. More importantly, you know to follow the rules of a regular apartment complex meaning they would have to file notice to move you out. So instead of letting that happen, they send guys with guns to your door screaming and yelling one hour after the rent has become due. Not only id this unethical it is also illegal. One something has been implied about a contract it becomes legally binding. But unless your phone records every message in which mine actually does. You really don't have a leg to stand on. And I actually witnessed this with my own eyes. On certain days you will see families with their belongings and children sitting around the complex with nowhere to go. If you talk to the employees at the pawn shop across the street they say it happens about twice a month because they will have lines of people spawning things to get a new place to stay. How can such monstrosities go on in a modern city like this? How long does the manager think he can get away with this before someone gets mad enough to end his existence or decide to have a shootout with the so-called Rambo security guards laurel and hardy. That's is actually what they look like lol. But anyway if it can be avoided I would walk the other way. As far as stars I give this one a negative 5 the app made me give it one. Run people and see this ridiculous excuse for a business closed immediately. I have never seen such a blatant misuse of the law in my life. Horrible disgusting I can't even think of a word horrible enough to describe this establishment. Just if you value your self worth and dignity stay away.

I been staying here for a month or so and actually had a warrant the first time I stayed here and got arrested, my car sat outside for 20 days apparently unlocked with suitcases piled up and NO ONE touched my car. Some ratchet things occur here and there but all in all it’s very nice place and so thankful to have a home as I was sleeping in my car prior to living here. If you stay to yourself and keep your company to a minimum this place is very ideal peaceful during the day and kids playing in the evening after school but I am very thankful for this place plus no deposit and super convenient straight shot to every destination

My experience was what I thought it would be. A low budget place to stay. You can't expect luxury at these types of places. I was there for 3 months until I was able to get into my home. I only had a few problems but nothing crazy.

A great place to get in character for a part in a movie. In which we have no equal rights, the hotel is the judge and jury, your presumed to be a criminal and treated so, and they legally can steal from you. Everyone beyond this, "NEW JACK CITY" compound, would be ashamed if they knew that in the 21st century places like Sportsmans discriminate against the poor by treating them all as criminals, illegally evicting some, without ever having to disclose the eviction reason. Then after defamation, having to "live behind enemy lines" and then eviction, Sportsmans legally DOES NOT RETURN PREPAID RENT. (To the poorest of people.) This is covered in the application addendum. I was not a victim of this legal robbery but instead they took advantage of my fear and, like the mafia, one of the rental cops promised me protection. But in exchange for the ultimately empty promise, I wound up in the e.r. due to excessive force trauma and treatment for STDs. As a single disabled mother I had saved and planned for months to move to a new place with public transportation and job availability to finally return TO WORK. INSTEAD I WAS TREATED LIKE A CALL GIRL OR DRUG DEALER. My only error, besides NOT being a suicide bomber, was putting up with a nosy smart mouth cop who scrutinized my 7 pieces of opened luggage on the floor. This the nosy cop saw when an *UNANNOUNCED nor PLANNED* visitor came to my door. Believing that "mafioso rental rapist" would "protect and serve" against an illegal eviction (three free weeks of tenant free money for Sportsmans) cost me: expensive 'out of state/no medicaid prescriptions, pain that literally prevented walking, emotional wounds, a lag in getting my son in school, and looking for a job. Some wounds I cant see on me or my son, whom watched me scream as I applied ice packs to my torn private area hourly. Likewise, due to the lease addendum, we almost never left my room. I stayed in pain for a week before finally walking* to the bus stop. I was unsure of which was worse: RISKING MY MONEY by leaving a "peeping tommy gunless cop" to further investigate my 'pain n the mess' and risk eviction (How did they know that clothes can damage property). OR WASTE TIME MOVING ON WITH LIFE BY SEEING A DOCTOR. She wouldnt tell me why...BUT IRREGARDLESS, THE MANAGER NEVER EXTENDED THE LEASE. When I directly asked for the eviction reason she relayed the answer like I would steal it if I knew who hid it. She said officially, young sounding and with too much hate, "We know of something". I would love to hear that third person testimony hold up in real court. But thats why they have Rental Cops.....its all about the dollar bill. TOO BAD THEY DONT REALIZE THEY ARE HURTING THEIR OWN PEOPLE. SPORTSMANS RESIDENTS: WE DONT HAVE TO USE THE COLORED BATHROOMS OR SIT ON THE BACK OF THE BUS. Its 2018!!!!!

I did not have much money which made staying in an apartment really hard. My credit also is not very good. I found Sportmans through a friend who said he had lived there and that they charge weekly and don't look at credit. My time at sportsmans was fine with the exception of the service which was very good. There were a few workers there that really made my day every single day. Always a smile on their faces no matter what the problem was. If I needed something fixed or done they were there either that same day or the next.

the only downfall for sportsmans is the location. it isn't the greatest area but I mean you cant beat their prices especially if you are someone who has very bad credit.

Me and my family been here for 5 months so far so good. Everyone that works in the office is very kind and respectful.

Not sure what people expect when they stay at a weekly that doesn't check credit. You stay at these places to get back on your feet, not to live there forever. I liked my stay there. I knew it wasn't a 5 star resort but I needed a place to lay my head for a few months until I got things going again. Yes there are some very interesting people hanging out on the grounds but it's a weekly. That's what I expected. The staff was great by the way. Very nice!
