The restaurant is located at the indoor space of the Stratosphere Hotel&Casino. The food is very good, a variety of steaks and wines is offered at a beautiful and cosy environment. The prices are normal for an American steak house, the staff is helpful and polite.

Overall, the dinner was disappointing. The appetizers were great and the waiter was great. But then came the steaks. My wife and I both got the 8 oz fillets and both ordered them cooked medium. Mine was cooked slightly more than I'd usually like, but it was acceptable. However, it was horribly dry and had very little flavor. My wife's was cooked significantly more than medium so she sent it back and asked for one done medium rare. It took so long to get the replacement that the rest of our party was done eating by the time her food arrived. The replacement was cooked about the same (closer to medium well), was very dry, and the top was charred like it had been forgotten under the broiler. The manager discounted her meal by 50%, but even that price was too much for the quality of food. Doubtful we'll visit here again.

Dinner was good here made reservations for 7 p.m. and was seated right away. I would consider it much better than average but not the very best I've ever had as far as how good the food was. The night before we ate at McCall's we ate at the Skyview restaurant on top of the Stratosphere Tower and it was much better I have to say, but indeed more expensive possibly twice as much in the tower then at McCall's for a similar meal. It was a rather romantic restaurant and there's a good possibility we will eat there again if we're at the Stratosphere again, but probably would choose the Tower restaurant if only there for one evening, but would at least go to McCall's restaurant for drinks in any case and the Tower for their dessert, dessert is very yummy up there. The service in McCall's was good and our waiter was attentive, thank you Nicholas for giving us a great night. P.S. Really great drink selection here, I suggest ordering a flight of your choice all were great, I had the four B's.

Staff Makes the Place ===== I’ve been a semi-regular at McCalls for nearly four years. Very, very nice staff who give their 100% to make you happy. Customers are usually friendly too which makes for a pleasant environment. . The appetizers and sandwiches are fantastic. Best Crab Cakes in town. French Onion Soup is a classic. Stay away from the Portabello Sandwich and the Spinach Dip. OMG- horrible! The sandwich would be good if they took away the spinach dip and went easy on the balsamic vinegar. Side Note: Europeans and Indians should know by now to tip 20% of the bill in America (if you liked the service). McCalls gets their fair share of Europeans and Indians. Ive seen them stiff the waiters and bar staff too many times to not make a comment.
