Great place. Staff very helpful, accommodations were very nice and the casino offered a little for everyone. However, like all casinos, no pay outside to help make the visit more memorable. A few points back helps make the trip more enjoyable. I dont expect to win unless I am a lucky one but I do expect some help to make my dollar go a little further and to enjoy the slots.

Older casino but still holds its own. Less smokey than most casinos that I have gone to due to larger non smoking areas. Extensive food choices, some are even pretty good. A decent place to be entertained while you responsibly lose a couple of bucks if your luck isn't too good. Nice waterfront and marina area for outdoor activities in good weather. It would not rate 5 stars as a resort hotel but giving it 5 stars for a casino.

I really love the renovated Golden Nugget. The rooms and hallways are decorated in warm colors that are soothing. The staff was excellent. The proximity of the free parking to your hotel room makes for a pleasant walk (though I do wish there were signs in the parking ramp illuminating the elevators). My only problem with our stay was that the people next to us we're so incredibly loud and I could hear every word. Security came to their room on more than one occasion and it was not a peaceful night. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel with really thin walls. I will likely stay there again.

Casino is very clean. Typical casino decor but it is very nice. Don't mean to offend anyone, but the cigarette smoke on the casino floor was very overwhelming. Rush Bar is a great place to get a drink and listen to good live music. Hotel room was very nice. Stayed on the 24th floor and had a great view of the marina and ocean. Room was very clean and the furniture and bed was very comfortable. All staff was very polite and helpful. Will definitely go back.

We are frequent visitors over 25 years. The chop house restaurant is the best. Accomodations are very comfortable,clean,beautiful views. Casino not as large as others which is a plus. I like keeping my friends close. The Marina is much nicer than the boardwalk. Loose or win and You will be offered a comp room or a big discount. Good luck. Rosemary

We stayed overnight at the Golden Nugget. The room was large and comfortable. They are clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool is fantastic. Lots of lounge chairs. The food at the pool is really good. The staff if very friendly and professional. We had dinner in the buffet. I'm not a fan of buffets but the food here was really good. A great selection to choose from. I'm looking forward to trying their other restaurants. It's a very nice casino and we will visit again.

I stopped by Golden Nugget because I was looking for a restaurant to dine at, and was staying nearby at Harrah's. The Japanese restaurant had exceptional sushi on their happy hour menu, I highly recommend it! Service was fantastic! The casino had a younger, lively crowd which made for a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be returning!

The hotel itself is run down and old, def not the best. I am pretty sure the machines are super old and hard to win money from. However it has the best club in AC, that's where I would give my stars. I think it has the right amount of space and speakers where people can move freely but not feel like it's empty. I've been to Premier and The Pool and let's just say this is def the best. Oh and sometimes girls get in for free ;)

Golden nugget - clean rooms, comfortable beds, fun slot machines(drinks while you play). Kim is my most favorite cocktail waitress, shes genuine ,friendly, attentive ,she makes us feel like family coming to visit.. The rush lounge, For us wine drinkers (VERY HIGH) priced glasses of wine) they "DO NOT" have any specials on wine.. However , its a nice place to get a drink if you're a beer or shot drinker. Fun while listening to a variety of performers.. My favorite is "DJ Skyline" , he gets everyone up on the dance floor, including the people whom are to shy or dont know how to dance... Love him.

My boyfriend took me to the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City during the first week of March 2018 for a few days of quality time which I really appreciated. (Let's be clear though, this hotel is far from romantic.) I'm not a gambler so the Casino had no real allure for me although I did play slot machines during my stay. I found that there wasn't much to do in the hotel. The winter weather those few days was just so awful; too awful to venture out! The bars & restaurants in the hotel--albeit convenient--were all closed early. There were no shows to see either. The hotel itself, in my opinion, was OK. The room had ample room. The bathroom was tiny but everything was clean. I really appreciated the mini refrigerator in the room! The bed was OK but the overall decor of the hotel and our room was a bit outdated. The staff was friendly. My boyfriend, however, enjoyed the Golden Nugget very much. He described it as: clean, welcoming, comfortable and inviting with a nice bed. He also thought the staff was very friendly and he would like for us to return.
