It was a nice getaway for my Birthday. The wife and I had a great time in the casino as well as the casinos around the area. We enjoy traveling to places we've never been and a coworker told me about Buffalo Thunder. There's enough to do for a family group outing or adult groups. The gym is large enough and has enough equipment for a good size grouping and is available 24hrs. We've been all over the world together, and as I said, we've enjoyed casinos all over the world. Your establishment is one we'll recommend to others. One last thing....maybe (microwaves) in the rooms would definitely be great. That's not a negative on your scorecard. It would justtttttt make the stay that much more enjoyable. All in all it was a great stay.

I like this place. It's beautiful & they have a few different eating options. The buffet has a terrific salad bar and they offer foods from different cultures. It's a nice getaway, even if you're not a gambler. I've hit big here a few times. The rooms are very nice as well.

This place is gorgeous! The art is stunning and the atmosphere is fun! Smoking in the casino sucks but everything else is awesome! Great deal all year round and exceptional service.

This was a fantastic hotel. There was a bellman there, and i wished i remembered his name. The dude took time out to help me find the dog park located on the property. For some stupid reason, my dogs won't use the bathroom on a leash. The rooms were also huge and ours featured a beautiful fireplace. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop there again.

We were very pleased with our experience here. Room was clean and all the staff was friendly. We ate at the Iguana cafe for dinner and it was good. We also ate at the deli in the casino and our food was great there also. The casino was plenty big for us to be entertained for hours. We could highly recommend this place!

We were disappointed in our stay at the Hilton Buffalo Thunder. The drain was completely pulled out of our shower. We went to the pool at night and there was caution tape on the jacuzzi as well as no towels. There was no one from the hotel to be found. I had to call the front office twice and was told the towels were in the washer. I then had to ask them to bring out bath towels for the guests if they didn't have clean pool towels. I went and spoke with the manager about it and he didn't seem to care and never came out to the pool area to make sure it was taken care of.

My mom had a business conference at a nearby 5 star resort. The price was 10x cheaper and we all agreed that we were glad we stayed at Blue Thunder instead. The resort is pet friendly, so we could even bring our dog, which was a huge plus. They even had a grassy area and a fenced in area where she could run around. They have sculptures, paintings, and a variety of other artworks done by indigenous artists, all of which are available for purchase. There is also a lot to do - they have indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a 27 hole golf course, a bunch of restaurants, a gift shop, a sweets shop with delicious gelato, and a casino, among other things. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to those who have the money and are traveling in the area.

This casino has it all. From slots and great table games in the casino to entertainment and great food. We like craps and played quite a few times. We find this the most entertaining because everyone plays against the casino and when you win everyone wins! We came in and out of town and every time we stopped by their was a craps table open! So much fun. Classy place. Everybody was very friendly. Thanks!!

Excellent room, very spacious. A tub shower and a separate glass shower in the bathroom, with lights that start dim and get brighter so they don't hurt first thing in the morning. Air conditioning works suitably well. Went to the buffet for dinner. Food was adequate, none of it was particularly special. Just an okay buffet. It's not the best, but you get as much as you want, and there is a good variety. Didn't gamble, but I know someone else staying there who won $250 at quarter slots. I wish the elevators were more convenient, I had quite a walk to get to them and to my room.

Very nice hotel with a professional, friendly staff. We went for some warm weather and early season golf. It's a great place to stay and well maintained. Unfortunately they don't open the outdoor pool until May. It was low 70's degrees days when we visited and it would have been great to get in some pool time. I'm from Colorado - 70's is great for laying out and soaking in some sun! The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is that there aren't a lot of options for eating. As a gaming resort you'd expect there to be a few more options. Breakfast and lunch are tough. The week we went the Painted Parrot was closed for remodeling. The Red Sage is fantastic, but opens at 3pm for bar service and 5pm for dinner. The only lunch option was Iguana Cafe. Just a little surprising that a gaming resort wouldn't have more options available. Every staff person we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The staff is well trained and made the stay even more enjoyable.
