Had a wonderful dinner for my mother's 87th birthday. We couldn't have asked for better.

Had dinner at the bar as I was dinning alone. The service was awesome! The food was fantastic! The menu is primarily a la cart. The prime rib was amazing and the wedge salad was great. Just fair warning, the side dishes are huge! Definitely large enough to share.

Food was very good. Pricey. Only negative comment would be the presentation of the foods. A very expensive steak just tossed on a plate with the side dish in a beat up pan. No thought into a little garnish or drizzle etc for a 75.00 steak meal. I've had better presentation on steak meals in the 20$ range. The steak was however cooked perfect.

This restaurant is situated above the casino. The set up is mediocre for the image they potray. The service was excellent and the servers were attentive. The wine selection was really good. I had the prime rib and it was amazing. I enjoyed every bite. Please pay attention when the servers take your order as everything is Al a carte so the soups, baked potatoes are all extra. When you order the steak, you only get steak without any sides. Very pricey place but busy. I recommend a visit.

Fabulous! I had the prime rib, my beautiful wife had the filet mignon. The prime rib was a perfect medium rare as was the filet. We split an order of king crab legs which were served with heated drawn butter. Another excellent choice. The meat of the crab was succulent and tender. The sides were HUGE. The cocktails too were sweet concoctions of inebriated desire. I love food of all kinds however I am very particular about what I recommend. I highly recommend the western door. I'm about to order cheesecake to take home because no room. Although I cannot wait to try that too.

Went to the Western Door for me and my fiance's anniversary/engagement dinner. They were helpful and welcoming, even with our 2 year old, who is pretty well behaved. We hate being "those people" with a noisy child. They brought out some crackers and bread to help occupy him while our dinner was being prepared. I had the French onion soup, which was a delicious, cheesy and tasty concoction. It tasted very fresh and looked amazing! She had the strip steak which looked phenomenal and appeared to be bigger in portion than the menu stated. Cooked to perfection and properly seasoned. She said it was probably the best steak she'd ever had! I don't disagree because my prime rib, which also seemed bigger than advertised was definitely the best prime rib I've ever tasted. It would be perfectly acceptable for a person without teeth to eat that prime rib with ease. My lobster tail was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lobster can get tough very quickly and very easily. Western Door managed to completely avoid that, as it was perfectly cooked! This place is not a cheap meal, but what you are paying for, you absolutely get back in taste and quality! Again, I can't say enough about the staff (Nicole and Steve) How friendly and accepting they were to our boy (who thankfully was well behaved) made it an enjoyable experience and a meal we will never forget. Thanks Western Door!

This is a fancy restaurant with great servers but when it comes to their food it sucks, especially when it comes to their sea food, I ordered the lobster tail and my first impression of It was bad, the plate was not dressed properly and it looked like they threw it the plate right from the microwave the tail was very salty and it was leathery. If Gordan Ramsey was here he would have a heart attack.

This is around my 15th visit to WD niagara falls. Its the same old story. The food is incredible. I can't remember ever having anything I didnt like. From the steak to the sides to the French onion soup, food is amazing. Little overpriced but very good. On the other hand, the service in this place is horrendous. My reservation was for 9pm on a Monday. Checked in and waited until 935 to get our table. Then as usual waited ridiculous amount of time to get our food. Ordered a white zin for myself as my girlfriend got a house cab. Her wine came after a few min, 15 min later im still waiting for my wine. Had to flag down my waitress to get it. This is the same old story on nearly every visit to this place. When people are spending this kind of $$ to eat, service should be pretty good at worst. So my 2 star rating is only because the food is so good. As far as service and wait time, I would give it a negative rating if possible

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at The Western Door at Niagara Casino yesterday 2/25/16 and purchased their 3 course dinner with beverage for $45 each. The food and service were exceptional. My salad with crumbled blue chees and bacon bits was a meal in itself and my steak could be cut with a spoon. My wife had the lobster bisque and the salmon for her main course and said it was the best she ever had. Coffee and dessert was almost to much. With tip $120 total and well worth every penny. Came home winners on the floor also. Can't wait until their remodeling is finished to go again. Dan & Barbara Roberts
