We went to Choctaw Casino & Resort to attend the Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Gretchen Wilson concert. We arrived early and had a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and quick to serve us. Even though there were smokers near us I want able to smell smoke and my clothes didn't smell like smoke when I left. The concert venue had a great sound system and Kenny Wayne and Noah sounded the best I've ever heard them. We used the valet parking and it was well worth the $10 plus tip. Overall we were amazed with this casino and resort. They also have a bowling alley and movie theater so there is something there for just about anyone.

I can't give one bad review about this place. Every time I go I have a blast whether I win or not. Go, because I actually compare this to WinStar and I absolutely love it. Kid friendly and family fun way you here at this place. You have a bowling alley and movie theater and a kid-friendly Casino area that's non-smoking. What more could you ask for if you actually have a family with you that does not like that atmosphere because of the smoking. There is a big play Arcade for children in there that has been expanded to meet the standards of an indoor fun park kind of in conjunction with a big arcade like an Amazing Jake's or if you could picture Six Flags with an indoor arcade that is just humongous. A bowling alley and a movie theater as well. Good food good friendly service and you'll always win.

I went to Choctaw Casino to redeem and play my $25 free play from a Dallas Stars ticket stub. The Player's Club representative was super nice and helpful, and gave me an extra $10 free play as a new member. The casino is very nice, more so than other local casinos. There is also a cinema and bowling alley, as well as plenty of well laid out restaurants. There is entertainment for all ages. Highly recommended.

Elevators weren't working when we first arrived. No hot water our first night (in the sink or shower). Some of the lights/slot machines lost power for about 30 seconds in the middle of the day for no reason. Pool is great, but closes early (at 9pm). Staff is friendly. Food was decent, but took forever to get our food. Casino is really smoky, do not visit if you are sensitive to smoke. There is one little smoke-free area, but it's not enclosed, so the smoke smell still carries.

More slot machines than I have seen in one casino. Very large but a little crowded with all the machines. Not as many card tables as other places but enough. A little smokey inside. Recommend they create a smoking section or have a no smoking policy inside. I enjoyed the resort and casino. Good family entertainment with a movie theater and bowling alley and a nice pool.

This place is awesome, it is a family friendly casino and resort. Plenty of pools and hot tub space inside and outside swimming with a slide for the kids and swim up bars for adults. Tons of slots and table games to play, buffet and restaurants for dining or fast food spots for a quick snack. They have a movie theater and game room and bowling for family activities. I give it 5 stars for overall cleanliness of the rooms and resort plus friendliness and helpfulness of staff. I will return definitely.

This place would be 5 stars if the pool was open later! Since the daytime sun is so killer in Oklahoma, we didn't even want to consider enjoying the outside pool/oasis until 6 pm or so. We went gambling and checking out the resort during the day and the pool areas in the evening (still in the 80's). They have an amazing outdoor pool area with two adult pools and two swim up bars. That being said, even though it has awesome lights and fires, they close it at 9?? What kind of adult resort closes the pool at 9?? We really liked how the resort was only two stories tall and built around the pool areas. It blocked the highway from the pool and made it a more comfortable walk without the smokey packed casino environment. This place could be so cool if they wouldn't shut the party down at 9pm! I'd stay here again if they made the outdoor areas more adult friendly.

Location was very easy to find right off the highway outside of Durant. Plenty to do for all ages. We had a great time enjoying the music, playing the casino games, even hit a mini jackpot! And the food options are wonderful. It's like a grown-up mini play world. Would recommend for everyone.

Very nicely decorated. Plenty of fun games. Somewhat smokey, but they use a pleasant fragrance to try and mask it and they do have a non-smoking section. The restaurant choices are sub-par. There are plenty of comfy corners when you need a break from all the noise and crowds. The pool area is really well done. Like a small Polynesian island. Overall a fun place to visit!

My family and I love this casino and hotel! We visit quite often and always have a fabulous time! The arcade is so fun to enjoy with my two boys and husband as a family, the bowling is an amazing experience and the movie theater is reasonable prices for both tickets and concession items. We just came home from our last trip, where my husband and I were able to enjoy the night life, but during the day made amazing memories at the gorgeous pool area and relax, unwind and escape reality for a day. Only our sleeping arrangements were quite unenjoyable. Our room was exactly next door to the vending machine room, and it seriously sounded like someone was vacuuming all night long from the humming sound of the machines up against the walls. My two year old would wake up quite often and my husband couldn't sleep because the sound would carry over the TV. We are all extremely exhausted and now feel like we need a vacation from the lack of rest we wanted to receive like all our other visits. I would totally give this hotel a five on beautiful property, excellent choices in restaurants, fun for families, cleanliness, comfy beds, and very friendly staff.... but today I feel a three is more in order since I am so exhausted and disappointed that I didn't receive the resting part that we all desperately needed this last weekend. Just request your room AWAY from vending machines at your next visit.
