These comments are being written by his wife, Maria. We were staying at the Best Western Lighthouse Inn at Ocean Shores & decided to order take out from the Waves restaurant and eat in our room. My husband picked up the order when they called our room to advise it was ready. He said there was "no one" in the restaurant. He ordered a sandwich which he said was pretty good. I ordered a shrimp Louie salad & it was disgusting. I have never seen translucent little bay shrimp that were somewhere between tasteless and awful. I would not eat the shrimp after tasting just a couple. The meals came with a utensil packet that was the cheapest I have ever seen. Even McDonalds does better. The kleenex in our room were stronger than the one little napkin included in the packet. I called the restaurant to voice my dissatisfaction with my meal as well as suggest they up the quality of their take out utensils. The person I spoke with had a real attitude and I am certain didn't really care about my concerns. I would say there is a reason on a Saturday night the restaurant was empty. Needless to say, I would not recommend, and for the record, we have eaten there before in the restaurant and both food and service were much better. I don't know how this restaurant got an overall rating of 3 1/2 stars.....sad.

If you're just going in for a quick drink, this is a functional spot. They have the standard domestics and microbrews on tap, and the standard liquor options. There are large screen tvs where you can watch the game, but no sound. So....yeah. Not sure what the deal is with that. Perhaps not enough sound proofing between the 3rd floor and the rooms below.
Look elsewhere if you're hungry. We paid way too much for a pizza that neither one of us wanted to eat after the first couple of bites. The crust was doughy and the sauce just tasted off. We asked them to cook it a little bit longer, but it wasn't much better when it came back.
