The Cove

My yearly home away from home. Having a timeshare here allows me to visit Aruba each year. I enjoy this resort because it is located in town and has access to its own private island. Not as luxurious as many other timeshare resorts in Aruba, but for me the perfect place to stay with a nice view on sunset and cruise ships that leave the harbor.

The Cove

This Resort is one of the best on the Island. The Staff were very friendly. Very vibrant atmosphere yet elegant and beautiful ambience of pool and bar area. Everything within walking distance. Provided free shuttle to Renaissance private island with two private beaches that were included with hotel stay. Starbucks on premises which made it wonderful for us coffee lovers. Best restaurants are within walking distance.

The Cove

This hotel was very , safe, secure, beautiful, and friendly, a little pricey but was worth it. AC worked perfect a tad bit louder than normal ac units. Room had a kitchenette area especially for someone to cook their own meal because eating out everyday in Aruba can become pricey. Room was very clean view from the balcony was amazing. I think I may look for a different hotel next time that I go. Just my opinion.

The Cove

I loved this place! The only reason I gave it 4 stars because the rooms were a tiny bit to small for my liking other than that the experience was AMAZING! I was there for a wedding and it was absolutely Beautiful. Staff was exceptional. Everybody from the desk clerks to the bellhops and the maids were EXTREMELY helpful and kind. John C the bellhop on the Marina side was INCREDIBLE! Always so helpful. I cant say enough about him.The private beach was beautiful! All and all a wonderful experience. Would definitely go back!

The Cove

What an excellent experience here, from the environment to the staff! The continental breakfast is very full selection to build good breakfast from, including bagels and lox. (I do wish they included some hard boiled eggs, but that's me being picky). The pool area is nice, and if you want a bit more, it's a short walk to the other hotel with it's enclosed, shallow beach. Best option is to go to their private island and hang out with the flamingos and iguanas!

Loved it! The location is unbeatable. The Hotel is fully renovated, the rooms are so comfortable, they have a kitchenette with a small fridge and a small freezer, great views, lovely service and yummy breakfast!!! Beach is great for kids and they also have a private island which has 2 beaches for adults and families, they are both great! There are flamingos in the private island which is amazing to see and you can even feed them! Overall experience: flawless!!!

The Cove

This is a great place to stay. We stayed at the adult only location. The resort offers great shopping and there are some good places to eat around the property. The resort is not right on the water, but does offer a separate private island that has two beaches, you get there by boat. The pool is also very nice, and the staff are great. I would recommend staying at this place for a few nights where you get shopping and your visit to flamingo beach (yes it has flamingos) and then spend the rest of your trip at a resort on the beach.

The Cove

Pros- clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good location, “private” island, economical, casino for entertainment, shopping close by, amazing close by restaurants Cons- loud music from the bar/pool area, included meals are repetitive, never gave us the One Happy Island honeymoon package we were promised The Renaissance Island is not going to give you a quiet private beach experience, it’s busier than most of the public beaches. The scenery is beautiful. The restaurant on the island has good food. The staff are excellent. Many upgrades available including cabanas and massages on the beach. Water is shallow, not great for swimming or snorkeling. Iguana beach is better than Flamingo beach in my opinion (depends on what kind of beach experience you’re looking for)

Truly loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, there are very nice pools at both the Ocean Suites and Adults Only Marina side. As a guest at Renaissance, you have full access to Renaissance Private Island which is the only private island in Aruba, after traveling to much of the Caribbean, the atmosphere on the private island is perfect for couples and honeymooners and it was absolutely beautiful. Lots of younger people. A decent variety of restaurants, bars, and shops in and around Ren Aruba. The rooms could have been a bit nicer considering the cost, which is my only criticism. I now know why they call Aruba "One Happy Island" and would highly recommend Renaissance Aruba for a relaxing vacation or honeymoon!

The Cove

Really great place! You can go to private Island (Flamingo Island) from the hotel itself, no need to wait for any water bus from outside of hotel. It would be great if they had more space in rest room. Swimming Pool view is amazing!
