Café Piccolo

A romantic Italian restaurant. The ambiance is very cozy and elegant. The food is excellent and the service is very attentive. A gem on Broadway. A good spot for a date, anniversary or other special occasion. Excellent wine list. Many wines by the glass or bottle. Prices are moderate for a Italian restaurant of this caliber. Appetizers $10 to $15 and main dishes $18 to $25. Valet parking is available or you can park on the street.

Café Piccolo

The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, yet interesting enough to look around. The food was delicious, as I ordered the linguine carbonara, and it was perfect. Service was on top of it, and our server JR was knowledgeable and friendly. Worth the price!

If you are looking for intimate, romantic dining in Long Beach, this is the spot. The atmosphere is fantastic with fountains, gardens, and candlelit tables. The food is Italian but it is northern Italian so is less tomato based and has more fish based dishes. I don't like fish but I did find some delicious items. There is a decent wine list from their wine cellar in the garden. The restrooms are also beautifully decorated. The staff is professional and the management comes around to check and ensure that your meal is up to expectations.

Café Piccolo

Loved our dinner there... Took my mother there for her birthday and the waitstaff was friendly and very helpful in picking out our dinners, as we were having trouble deciding between several dishes. We always had a warm bread at the table and our waters were refilled meticulously... The food was amazing! Even the escargot! Great atmosphere in the "outside" inside patio area complete with fountain. Highly recommended!

Café Piccolo

This place is good, but there's nothing quite extraordinary about it. They give complementary hot bread with butter, which was yummy. They have a nice wine selection. The menu is a little confusing; our waiter was nice and provided clarification to our inquiries. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we enjoyed our meal.

Café Piccolo

Great food, beautiful place and wonderful people. We were here for my friend's birthday and everyone was super nice, kind and welcoming. Our server was great, he did an amazing job, very knowledgeable and professional. Food was great, I got clams and mussels on a really tasty pasta and the lentil curry soup was a fine touch. A couple bottles of Chianti by the fireplace in the patio made a very memorable time. I Will highly recommend it, can't wait to go back.

When I first saw this place I thought This place looks really nice from the inside . But when it came to the most important thing...THE FOOD. It was horrible the pasta was greasy and No Flavor .The salt &pepper I used did not help at all. And the check it was $55 +tips for 2 plates of flavorless pasta and 2 cups of water. Definitely my 1st and last time here ever! (Oh the pic below it's of my unfinished plate)

We we're looking for a place to eat so we look around and found this place We decided to come here based on the reviews. We get to the restaurant and it looks nice, we waited and got a table. We looked for pasta Alfredo. And guess what no Alfredo in an Italian restaurant wow. I ordered a pasta with shrimp and scallops. And my girl a pasta primavera. Both of them had no flavor at all it was just very plain. It was very disappointing. We will definitely not be coming back.
