Worth much more than 2 stars because the menu is interesting, the food is excellent and service ok, BUT Avoid Sunday night's!!! Why, because sitting on the veranda we had to endure 'music' loud doof doof boring rubbish coming from the lawns. Chose to leave early.

Food was great, serving sizes for items like Lamb cutlets and steaks etc are a bit small so you might want a side or an entree aswell. Drinks are table service only which was a pain when you had to wait for service to come to you but otherwise a pleasant restaurant for Darwin. Views toward the harbour are nice, Window table would be ideal for a date or even on the deck during the Dry season.

Surprisingly good food inside a casino. Last night at the hotel and decided to give this a try. Very pretty view of the sunset and the food was tasty. Staff was really helpful when we told them we will share all of our dishes, everything came in 2 separate servings.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Very reasonably priced, tasty food. Open kitchen makes for a fascinating view of food production or alternatively watching the sun go down over the ocean. It can get quite busy, and therefore noisy - so this isn't the location for a quiet dinner for two. But for all other occasions, Il Piatto is sensational!

Love dining here. Great fresh food menu complimented with traditional Italian pasta, pizza etc. Very good service & wine list. Mark the Maitre de goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and valued. Highly recommend.

The sunset that greets you at the balcony of Il Piatto is worth the price of admission alone, Kick back on the lounge style dining balcony and watch the amazing territory sunset. Sip on a cold white and get set for a beautiful evening. Start with a tasty hand crafted garlic pizza crust.Followed by pork belly, roasted scallop, tomato, cauliflower purée, black sausage and pork Tortellini Yummy! Fried mix seafood, calamari, prawns, white fish, celery salt with charred lemon aioli. Baby baked fish fillet, watercress , fennel, lemon and herb butter sauce. The grand finale - Piatti da dividere 800 gram OP Rib Fillet on the bone, potato purée , saute' vegetables, red wine jus. Desert ???? No room after this beast of a meal. We will have to come back again for that. Location perfect. Ratings out of 100 Variation of menu: 80 Quality of produce: 85 Service: 90 Cleanliness: 85 Ambiance: 93 Overall Rating: 86.6 Best meals: Hard to go pass the oven prepared Rib on the Bone.
