Booked lunch at Restaurant 19 as a celebration for an intimate wedding party. We were welcomed warmly,and the bride and groom congratulated on arrival. Wait staff were attentive and offered helpful suggestions with the menu. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, and tasted as good as it looked. Our waiter was happy to take a group photo for us at the table to record the occasion. The wine selection offered was excellent, and our glasses were discreetly topped up throughout. Beautiful ocean views were our backdrop. The whole experience helped cap off a memorable occasion

Absolute shockers. Left items in room called multiple times. Absolutely no help to track down items. Not even a courtesy call. Won't ever voluntarily book in here. Stacks of great places to stay on the gc. This isn't one of them.

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Ken, one of the member of The Star club and I would like to lodge a formal compliant regarding the rude service I received by one of hotel front office staff over the phone hotel reservation on 10/09/2018 at 11.37am. I would like to make a hotel reservation in The Star Gold Coast and The star Sydney on 13/10/2018- 19/10/2018 for which I called hotel front office The Star Gold Coast to getting more information. The female staff told me they don’t have any complimentary room available in Gold coast and Sydney between the period even I don’t requested I like to get complimentary room. I only need to make a hotel reservation for my family. I was trying to ask “ can i talk with your manager?” when she has begun impatient. However, she denied to send her manager and also denied to give me her name as well . The most rude behavior is she said: “ If you want to make a complaint, you can call this number again.” Then she hang up the phone without any apology.As a 5 star hotel, the good trained staff is necessary for your company reputations, And also the well trained staff responsibility is up selling the room not treat the customer by inappropriate behaviour and not kick the customer out. I hope that this letter explains my feelings and disappointment for the rude and unacceptable service. I would not like this to happens to me or any other customer again. Inside the casino was buzzing with activity on a Saturday night. Heaps of people and activity created a great ambience. The sports bar is really good with huge screens with just about every sport playing. Drinks were quick considering the amount of people. Good spot to meet people and have a quick slap.

The absolute best in accommodation. The location is perfect not to far to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is an awesome pool are and gym really good with a sauna! The rooms are spacious beautiful comfy beds and pillows. It does not matter which view you get the hinterland looks beautiful as does the ocean view. We stay there very often and have always enjoyed talking with staff, dining in the local restaurants and just relaxing. It's a great place to stay 10-10.

Sports bar is amazing with a huge main screen and countless smaller screens all over. Even when it was completely packed (England World Cup game), there was no chance of missing anything. Drinks were a bit pricey at about $7 for a schooner of mid, and the bar was three people deep due to the crowds there for the event. Would definitely go again though.

Friendly service. Great choice of food. Food hot and fresh. Loved the cutlery 😊. Service very quick and the restaurant clean. Well done CG Star Casino. Lol.. Also walked away with a little extra cash. Happy visitors.

We had a champagne lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. Amazing - exceeded our expectations. Food was fresh and delicious, the champagne was free flowing and the service was excellent. We were looked after by lovely super friendly waitresses, we had the best afternoon and such value for money. The Garden Restaurant is the perfect place for an afternoon out.

Didn't gamble or stay over ... Just went for a show. Location is conveniently situated for public transport. Helpful security personnel. Cocktails and beers priced well when compared to some bars and restaurants. Bars are laid out OK for seating and service areas, but some couches could do with cleaning. Food from food court was similarly priced well as opposed to some takeaway or food court places in nearby large shopping malls. Toilets I used were clean.

Great facilities, attentive well presented staff and awesome selection of food and drinks with multiple bars to choose from....but $20 to access the roof top bar? No thanks...however as we mumbled about the entry price the bar staff willingly offered the 4 of us access for a 'sly 50 his way' which I found most unprofessional, benefiting his pocket to access upstairs? No thanks! We left. Maybe back next time but will avoid the rooftop and enjoy our drinks and entertainment on the lower levels. Cheers
