Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

Vietnamese sandwiches served on soft baguettes, salad bowls topped with pickled vegetables, spring rolls and pho noodle soups will be served at this traditional outpost. Guests can expect flavors such as Thai basil, toasted peanuts, chiles and green papaya to add some spice to their visit.

Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

One of my favorite restaurants in Alexandria. Reasonable prices, the food is awesome, and the service is fast. It does get crowded but they move people pretty fast, plus it's totally worth the wait. Only downside is they'll only do one check per table.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, beautifully prepared, good service. Very tiny restaurant, only a few tables; difficult to find parking (even for Old Town residents). A good place to consider for carryout.

Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

This place is a joke. Food is good, somewhat overpriced. The bubble tea is practically water, but whatever, no one is perfect. but here's what pissed me off. THEY CAN'T SPLIT THE BILL!? When you mess with my money, now we got issues! My wife and I went there to meet another couple, and when the bill came, they couldn't split it, or charge two credit cards, and the waiter got an attitude with us like we were crazy for asking! So long story short, two couples are having an having an awkward conversation on how to manage a bill and who's credit card is going to be used because some [INSERT PROFANITY HERE] doesn't know how to split a bill. If you don't want to be in the same situation, or if you don't want to pick up the bill with whoever you eating with, then go somewhere else. There are PLENTY of great Vietnamese restaurants in the National Capital Region to eat in, avoid this one.

Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

The absolute best place to grab a bowl of pho in the DC area. Cheap, fast, and delicious. Just like a local Vietnamese place should be. Busy just about any day after 630 but even then I've never waited more than 15 mins. Takeout here is always an excellent option. Living in Old Town, this is one of the few places I keep coming back to.

Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

Great place for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Generally you have to wait for a table to open up and the place is small so it's best for small groups. The service is efficient, so even when it's packed, I've never had to wait too long for a seat. Vegetarian options are all excellent, but I especially like the vegetarian imperial rolls and the egg banh mi.

They are fast, reasonable and the food is delicious! The restaurant is very small and if you would like to sit in during lunch you may have a wait but it is worth it if you have the time. I personally have not sat in so can't really say anything about the service but the food, especially, the Pho, is phenomenal. It is always ready in 10 minutes, you get extra beef! REALLY very thin strips of uncooked beef to add to your soup if you like. I have never had an issue here and have always enjoyed my food.

Bánh Mi Vietnamese Kitchen

This place is VERY popular, and rightly so!! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is prompt and responsive. We came at 2pm on a Sat, and the place was consistently packed, so not the best spot to go with a large group, but the food and prices really can't be beat - just be sure to come early if you want to get bobba! It's a little small (but so are all the shops in Old Town), but the tables are nicely laid out and can accommodate up to 8, I'd say, when pushed together. It is family friendly - several families with babies and toddlers came in while we were here. Definitely recommend!
