We came in there to the Half Shell Oyster house to get some oysters and seafood. First things first the location is pretty awesome. It’s located inside the hard rock casino and when you walk in it’s an extremely upscale atmosphere. I was after the oysters, which were fantastic. I ordered a half dozen which would equal six oysters. They brought me seven. So that means they gave me one more than they were supposed to. How cool is that? They were fresh and big. Next thing I know the entree menu has my head literally spinning. I mean literally. So I ended up getting the Voodoo Shrimp Po Boy which was unreal and wish I could have went bigger but I had a big dinner planned so I attempted to not over indulge but the Po boy was huge and had a ton of shrimp on it. Food. Unreal. Now I forgot what our servers name was but she had a kid, she was young and in culinary school and unfortunately had a boyfriend. I say unfortunately because my best friend was ready to be a step daddy after seeing her as well as experiencing her personality for him self throughout the meal. So service was great. I don’t want to call this place expensive, because the prices are correct for the quality, freshness, and taste of the food. So it’s priced correctly in my opinion. You get what you pay for here. Very good seafood selection. Everything we tried was fantastic. Larry, our waiter was very nice and offered suggestions which were excellent. I did not know there were several half shells and if I knew that we might not have stopped, but we were glad we did afterward. Great food!

Fantastic experience right from the jump. Our "30 min wait" lasted only 10 min. I had strawberry basil mojito which was ridiculously good! Crab and shrimp dip appetizer was fabulous! We had Herb crusted grouper and crab cakes, absolutely amazing!! Fantastic service just rounds out the whole dining experience. We couldn't be more impressed or thrilled! Nice lighting and ambiance too. Definitely a must go place! Worth every dollar for sure!

Overall: great food, service, and location. I had the seafood pasta which was tasty. I had a large enough portion to only eat half! The chocolate dessert was delicious. Be aware they have upstairs seating that would be difficult for some. But there is seating downstairs and maybe they have an elevator-who knows.

This is a fairly classy seafood place. The building is incredible. A historic place with plenty of atmosphere. Huge upstairs area. Service was excellent. We ordered the reds for an appetizer, and they were a little bland, for my taste. However, everyone at our table said their food was delicious. A great experience, overall.

Outstanding food, great drinks and exceptional service. One if not the best casual dining on the coast. My family has been many times, they always meet and exceed our expectations. Do yourself a favor and check them out during happy hour for good drink specials. 3-6 everyday IIRC

The food was great. Drinks were even better. The blueberry pomegranate sangria is amazing. We went for lunch and the portions we're pretty small. Not sure what the dinner portions are like though. The stairs are small and steep to go up. Overall it was a nice place. I'd like to go for dinner one time.
