Shula's Steak House

Went here with group of 11, pretty much every steak was over cooked. The one filet that was properly rare was extremely dry somehow. Service was slow.

Shula's Steak House

To be fair, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice, but the service is so horribly slow. I literally believe the chef went outside to pick the veggies to prepare my salad and he made a quick stop at the butcher's shop to grab my steak. There were only 2 people serving for lunch. Ok... if our lunch tab is over $130, you should expect quality service right? Based on previous experiences at Shulas, I recommend you go, but only if you have 2 hrs for lunch.

Shula's Steak House

I have to say I expected a lot more to be honest. Although the restaurant is beautiful and provides a great environment for a special occasion the food was less than desirable. The steaks didnt have too much flavor and crab mac&cheese was very dry. Even though the meal was decent it wasnt worth $200. Wouldn't visit again.

Shula's Steak House

We had been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it. This time was completely different. When we walked in we were treated like white trash nobody's. The manager seated us and told my husband he needed to remove his hat. (Which we expected. It's supposed to be a nice restaurant and we respect a "no hat" policy). Our service was very slow. We were only checked on once. We went without water for at least half our meal. They brought my husband the wrong beer. Then the manager seated a woman with a hat on. We waited to see if he would ask her to remove it. He didn't. We had waited for 30 minutes for our check. But it never arrived. So we went up front. It still took forever to get the check. Then we asked the manager why they pick and choose who can wear hats. He said woman can. Men can't. (WHAT???!) There is no difference, and on top of that, he was rude and never apologized for the crappy service. Definitely won't spend money there again. When will go to Cholas. Better food and more for the money.

Shula's Steak House

Some friends of mine decided to make reservations at this restaurant after booking a room at the casino to celebrate a birthday. We waited more than an average time to be served water and asked for our drink orders. Our waiter (Marco) visibly rolled his eyes when someone didn’t order alcoholic beverage and instead asked to have water even though everyone else at our table of four ordered a drink. At this point I started to think that because we were a lot younger than the vast majority of the patrons around us we might be singled out as people who may be disrespectful or lower tipping than others. After our drink orders it was probably 10-15 minutes more before they took our food orders even though other tables around us were being attentively served. Once our food was served I had gotten the wrong cut of meat, which wasn’t at first obvious so I had already put half of the two sides I had ordered into my plate (costing probably $10+) they took my entire plate away including the sides and when they brought my original order the sides were gone. When the bill came I was charged for the entire cost of the sides even though they had taken them away. Getting the bill was a whole different ordeal. It took almost 20 minutes after originally asking for it and then another 20 minutes after we asked them to split it between two couples. There was one particular waiter named Brian who was super helpful and very attentive even though he was not our waiter (he is the only reason why I am giving two stars instead of one).

Shula's Steak House

How big do you like your meat? If you answer is HUGE AND RAW then Shula's is the place for you. Fantastic selection of amazing beef. Everything from the moment you walk in the door feels so cozy and attended to. I am no sports fan, however I am a football sized hunk of red meat fan. I highly recommend Shula's Steak House to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience dining in Chandler. This is probably the finest steak house this side of Downtown PHX.
