Really good biscuits and gravy OMG and their pies are super delicious. Family oriented and good service. I love the ladies there they were sweethearts.

Nothing fancy but food and service is excellent! Kids powerhoused the pancakes. Lots of home made pies. Little store with organic veggies next door.

Wow. That's all I have to say. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of this place you should stop there for breakfast. End of story. Update: I came back here yesterday on the way back home from a wedding the night before. I take back what I said about the wow thing. This place is a gem, and the staff are incredible. Make sure to ask about any homemade bread specials, and try the hash. Trust me . Don't forget to say hey to Herb if he's sitting by the counter!

Good home cooked meals at a reasonable price. People are very friendly and willing to help you. Nice country type atmosphere. It's like a deli up front with small counter service and tables in the back. Did not count them but it did not seem like a lot of tables. Like I said the food was good. The price is reasonable. Service was good. If you are looking for fast food this is not for you. Over all I would come back again. Oh they also have Dollar slice pies, for when you are done eating but can not eat that much more. I opted for the rub-bar and strawberry pie, man that was good. Could almost pass for the model of C. Barrel. Did not feel right to fully mention them here. Again looking forward to stopping here when in neighborhood.

We heard about Herb's from the hotel we stayed at last night and so we had to try the place out. Right away when we walked in the door we said "Yeah this is country'. The menu was awesome and we had Herb's daughter for our waitress who was friendly and as helpful as could be! The food was great and it didn't take long to get served. We also were fortunate to meet the owner Herb on the way out .Lucky for us, he just happened to be sitting at the counter. Super nice gentleman!

I have been going to herbs for at least two years now and unfortunately this is not the first time that a slight change of request to a menu item has cost me an excessive amount of money. I purchased the herbs man version, my girlfriend purchased the herbs female version with the added request of vegetables and cheese in her two egg side. The waitress said that's fine but I will have to charge you separate for the omelette. With no additional explanation or breakdown of the price it seemed like there was an added charge for the cheese and veggies. Herbs man size and herbs woman size are both $11.50. When we got our receipts my order was correct at $11.50, my girlfriends receipt however was a separation of the bacon, pancakes, and omelette totaling $18.00 ($9.95 for an omelette, $3.95 for the French toast, and $3.95 for a side of bacon. So when we explained how confusing this was and how it was not explained to us the owner sympathized with us at the cash register and then proceeded to charge us the full price at $36 for our breakfast!! I've never paid that much for a breakfast for two.

I'm from the Providence area. I drive up all the time just for breakfast. The kids and wife love it. I love it fresh everything including the sweet hearts that work there. If your reading this MAKE THE DRIVE. You won't regret it. P. S. Don't forget to visit The country store Also the best. personal favorite pickeled garlic.

Good food I went here with my ex bf. He was really rude to the waitress and waiters. It's a blessing how the waitress and waiters were still positive to him. My ex bf was really so rude to them for no reason that I was embarrassed of his disgusting and disrespectful behavior to them I was so uncomfortable how rude we was I had my face looking down at my food embarrassed of my ex bf bad attitude for a family owned restaurant they are very polite it was raining that day and they were still positive

Food was good not great, sevice was good. $9 for breakfast sandwich and potatoes when they are on the specials board, add in a cup of coffee and you are at $12 for a simple breakfast. Not blown away by anything remarkable or noteworthy. Although it is very close to home, I don't see a reason to come back.
