The Porch

Did some research before coming to Miami and this little gem came up. Boyfriend and I have been to this restaurant twice for breakfast once for lunch and all times the food was delicious, the prices are reasonable to the service is great. I would definitely recommend going.

The Porch

Loved the food. Got seated immediately and service was pretty quick. After 7 or 8 PM they have a 10% discount on our meal which made the price very reasonable.

The Porch

Nice brunch spot in South Beach! It does the basics well (like coffee and eggs benedict). The servers are friendly and fast. It is a bit pricey, however. A cup of coffee cost $3.50, which I think was too expensive. Most diners and brunch spots offer coffee for about $2.50 at a max in my experience.

The Porch

Best weekend breakfast spot. Crowded all the time. Sit at the bar; it's more fun and there's no wait. (Worst bartender: Jose; Best: Stephen). Great portions and fresh fruit is delicious. They also do a great happy hour daily.

Amazing food and service. Arrived around 730am on a Thursday after a red eye. There were still a half dozen people already served and eating. Their breakfast potatoes were amazing, would go back for that reason alone. Not to mention by 10am when I returned from a long walk there was 20+ people wait.

The Porch

We were looking for a good breakfast place in South Beach that serves more than sandwiches and pastries, and desperate to get away from hotel food. We were not disappointed by The Front Porch Cafe! Delicious omelets and egg dishes. Great coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice. Service was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend. Will be back the next time we're in Miami Beach!

The Porch

Came here for brunch on a Tuesday. The wait around lunch time was about 20 minutes but didn't feel too long after taking a short walk around the area to scope it out. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in too much of a hurry. I had the smoked salmon Benedict and boyfriend had the crab cake Benedict. Both tasted decently but I thought it was odd that they didn't have any English muffin with the crab cake unless that's just how they always serve it. I think this restaurant is tied to the adjacent hotel and you can see the underside of a swimming pool from the waiting area. Prices are kinda high considering the service but I guess I paid for the convenient location.

The Porch

The food and drink: The cafe mocha was good. It was sweet and chocolatey, as one would expect. The Porch Burger Deluxe was huge, cooked properly, and well seasoned. I liked how buttery the bun was. The bacon was very fatty and floppy, which I didn't like. The fries we're cold, floppy, and just not good. The service: Service was incredibly slow. After putting our name down and waiting for an hour (the estimated time) they said it'd take another half an hour to an hour so we split our group in half. Once seated, it took a long time before someone came to take our order, for our food to come out, and for someone to come give us the checks. They also don't split checks for you, and make you write down how much to charge each card if you want to split it yourself. This, in addition to the fact that they include a resort fee and service charge doesn't win any points with me. Overall: It's a very long wait for very very average food. Nothing was necessarily bad though I guess. Except the fries.
