Overview

The MSC Seashore debuted in November 2021 from Miami, FL. Sofia Loren continues her role as Godmother for this fabulous New York-themed ship. As you explore this futuristic ship, you'll notice some of the venue names and decor will remind you of the Big Apple. This Seaside-Class ship overflows with cutting-edge design that brings you closer to the sea than ever before. The MSC Seashore has 139,930 square ft of open decks, a stunning seafront boardwalk, ample options to eat, drink, swim and sunbathe, a coveted Infinity Aft pool, and the breathtaking glass skywalk Bridge of Sighs. A full-size F1 Simulator can also be found onboard, as well as a white water rafting simulator, and an immersive XD cinema virtual reality experience.

The MSC Seashore Casino is MASSIVE! Located on Deck 7 this 12,217 square ft casino holds 182 slot machines and 12 tables. Not to mention, the stunning Signature Casino entrance, which is a long hallway lined with active slot machines and ceiling chandeliers. The design in the casino does not stir from the New York theme, with a 9.5-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty at the Casino Bar, and an impressive 27.5-foot LED wall which spans four decks and features a projection of the iconic Manhattan skyline that can change from day to night.

MSC Seashore

Casino review/ room
The room was on the 15th floor and had a lot of noise from the Buffett above. You could hear carts being rolled around all the time. The casino was ok. The temperature was crazy hot. Told the staff a few times that it was very hot and needed a little more air-conditioning. It never changed. Games were ok. Staff was great and great service. Very tight machines. Not a lot of popular machines like other cruise lines.

Staff/Accomdations/Casino/Food
Our casino representative sunshine was very tentative. The room that we stayed in balcony on the 15th floor was terrible because of furniture being moved above on the 16th floor during the day and night. Also next to the bed was no outlet for charging phones or iPads except on one side. I did have some luck on the Buffalo game which our attached a few of the actual winning photos. We brought some friends who were not gambling but our ballroom dancers and enjoyed the facilities on board. Actually, they had such a great time they bought another cruise next season on their own.

MSC Seashore, Nice ship, so so casino
It's a nice ship and decent amount of things to do on board, the food was good but it was always cold. When it comes to the casino it is very hot and the variety of machines is very limited. MSC technology for casino is not that great you enter your card sometimes it takes it sometimes it doesn't and instead of putting your money on the card you have to get printable tickets and then use them in another machine.

MSC Seashore

Very tight machines
The yacht club was very nice but a bit disorganized at time, I believe they were under staffed. The casino was very tight, only saw 2 wins in 14 days. 1300 and 3900, also nobody I talked to saw any either!! My biggest hit in 14 days was 450 and I play an average of $3.00. I will not cruise on MSC again.

MSC Seashore

Wow ship, wow staff and wow food!
I am an MSC lover and the Seashore made the grade. Everything was smooth as silk from embarkation to disembarkation. Casino has a lot of activity and was good to me on the last evening earning a free suite certificate.

WORST CRUISELINE EVER
Just got off this ship on Aug 13th.. 7 nights. If it wasn’t for URCOMPED and being free, i’d ask for my money back. Absolute shit show. HOURS in line to check in, then hours to line up and get on board, same with disembarkation… The pools and hot tubs are closed at 7pm, WTF else is there to do?? Oh, the shows?? Great idea but it’s first come first served, so no seats… EVER. The food… Holy crap, I’d rather lick the dock to fine edible food. It’s the same food in the buffet, EVERY SINGLE TIME. And the buffet closed at 9pm, and there is NOTHING else open to get food. People grabbing stuff with their bare hands, far too many very young kids that were not supervised… 1 bartender per bar so average wait for a drink was 30 mins. So much noise coming through walls, ceilings, etc that you could not sleep at night. I was status matched to Diamond, their highest tier 2 months before the cruise and yet, i had to go to the customer service desk and wait in line for over 45 mins EACH TIME, to ask where my free comps were for being diamond… finally 4 days later, I got my free robe, slippers, bottle of wine, and chocolate ship… yippee. The place is dirty.. nobody wiping things down…. And then day 4, SICK with what I suspect was food poisoning. The showers are fully enclosed except for about .5 to 1 inch at the very top… make showers smell of mold/mildew from no air circulation. EVERYTHING is watered down, ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, shampoo, etc. The casino is so small, people will Hoover over you waiting for you to get up so they can play. I would rather sail on Carnival with the People Of Walmart then go back on this cruise line again. Most of the staff was OK, they will literally accost you at every turn to get you to buy stuff, Internet package, Drink Package, Dining package… they are waiting outside every elevator, bar, dining facility, everywhere… each and every day. They are relentless and will not leave you alone, I actually told them if they didnt leave me alone, I was going to file harassment charges and get a restraining order, it’s that bad. The staff as well as passengers are just rude. I can’t tell you how many times the staff just shrugged off something I asked/told them and the other passengers don’t play by American rules, like waiting their turn in line. EVERYTHING on this cruise line costs money. There are no free drinks of any sort, juice, soda, water, coffee, it all costs money. The mixed drinks are so stingy on alcohol, you could get more from a bottle of mouthwash. The one highlight was the room steward.. top notch, always in the hall asking if you need anything or making up your room within minutes of leaving. I don’t understand the schedule. We left Miami at 6pm on Saturday, Sunday was a sea day and Monday we got to San Juan at 5pm, couldn’t get off ship until almost 6pm… by that time, what is there to do in port besides bars??? Why couldn’t we get there in the morning so we could do excursions??? Giant waste. The casino was SOOOOO tight.. only people I saw winning on slots was people betting $2 denom and $20 - $50 a spin. I went through over $3,000 and got the bonus about 5 times. Horrible.. don’t throw your money away there. They had a Diamond event to meet the crew.. started at like 5pm.. Got there at 5:05, was supposed to have drinks, free food, etc. I sat down and couldn’t get a server to wait on me.. went to bar for a drink, got 1, no food in site except for a partially eaten plate… waited 15 mins, no more servers and still no food. Then announcement made thanking us for coming and to please get out so they could get ready for the other event coming up. Horrible. The last thing I will say, is if you like sleeping on brick, then this bed is for you. Everyone was complaining about how hard the beds were. I have had to take muscle relaxers to get my back out of the knot it’s in from these beds. Could not sleep at all, It hurt so bad from laying on them. I actually slept on the couch the last 2 nights.

Re Think your selection
This was my very first cruise, the ship it self was absolutely gorgeous! I chose this cruise for the sailing date and how new the ship was. I had the Bella room experience and had no issues and always had a clean room and bathroom. I purchased the unlimited drink package, saying that there was no location open past 2am to drink on the ship, everything closed! I met some amazing people on the ship, and would never take that experience back, but we all experienced the same issues with how poor the casino was and how it never paid out anything. The slot machines were the worst machines I have played, through my life time of gamboling. Not a single machine played hit for any amount, they all just kept sucking in money! If you are going to gamble, I would look into all the reviews on the casino first and please re think your selection.

MSC Seashore

Beautiful ship, untrained staff
4 hours on line in front of the terminal to get on the ship, in the sun. The worst embarkation i have ever experienced, by far. If it wasnt comped i would have been really angry, as others were. Main dining room food is better then then most of the specialty dining, with the exception of butchers cut. Popular items on the buffet were precooked, and dry.
