How do I pre-pay gratuities for my cruise?
Typically, the cruise line charges you at the end of the cruise. They can charge your card on file or you can pay in cash- whichever you prefer. Some people prefer to pay gratuities before their cruise when they put their deposit down or pay their port fees or taxes. The best way to prepay gratuities is to let your URComped host know at the time of booking that you would like to do so.
Gratuities range by room/cabin type, cruise line, but are generally about $12-$17 per person per day. If you have specific questions, just ask your URComped host.
Do other cruise lines match status like MSC?
If you are a Celebrity cruiser and you have a status there, Royal Caribbean will match it. Also, vice versa, if you have status on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity will match it. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise lines do not match status with other cruise lines such as Carnival or MSC.
How do I get my URComped referral code?
Each player has their own referral link. Every trip you book with us, you get an automated email that says, "Thanks for your booking your trip," as well as some other information including a referral link and code for you to share with your friends and family. If you know a comp level player that could benefit from our services, send them that link or give them the referral code to sign up with.
When they sign up, they will be assigned to the same URComped host as you. There is not currently a referral bonus program. There are a lot of people sign up on the site every day, and if they came from your referral code, they'll get bumped to the top to be "onboarded." This is just a way for us to keep track of referrals and make sure they get the best service possible.
