How To Play Baccarat!

Learning new games that you haven’t played can be a bit tedious, but not when it comes to Baccarat. The rules are fairly simple, unlike figuring out how to pronounce the name of he game.  Baccarat [Bah-kuh-rah] means zero in both Italian and French. You’ll understand later. The breakdown: There are 3 ways to bet: Tie, Banker, or Player. The point of the game is to bet who will have the higher hand or if the player and banker will tie. Neither the banker nor player is the casino or dependent on actual players, respectively. The banker and player are just options for you to bet on.

In Baccarat, two cards are dealt. The cards are then added up and only the ones digit is taken into account for who has the higher hand. All face cards have no value, hints Baccarat, zero. Aces are valued at one. A third card is sometimes dealt, but again, you’re hoping for your bet to have the higher hand. For example, you bet on player. The hands are dealt and the player gets a 6 and another 6. The total is 12. However, only the ones digit is taken into account. This means the players hand is actually 2, not 12.

How much is your winnings? If you bet on Player, the house edge is 1.24 percent. While betting on banker, the house edge is only 1.06 percent.  If you want to bet tie, the house edge is 14.4 percent.  The player and banker’s house edge is amongst some of the lowest casino betting games.

It is as simple as that. No tedious rules, no remembering what certain things stand for, and no complicated dialect. All you have to do is bet. Keep in mind that majority of the time the banker usually wins, but again it’s virtually a 50/50 chance.
